Howdy y'all! i know it's been since Easter since i last posted.. i'll just say this, it's been a roller coaster of emotions for me the last few weeks since Easter. i had started feeling some depression hit me at the most weirdest of times & just also i felt like i was being weighed down by grief. The main reason i was feeling like this is because this year is the 30th. year anniversary of my real Dad being killed. i always do just some how take all the grief from all the other 11 months & pile it into the day of April 22nd.

Well, on the of the 22nd this year i had work which was nice.. because i got to be around my little kids at work (some of my favorite type of people). After work Grandma took me up to where my Dad's site is & let me go lay my flower bunch on his site & as sometimes i do, i will bow my head & talk to the Lord.. about missing my Dad etc. This year also was the 10th year anniversary of me coming back to the Lord after an almost 20 year absence. So, as i was thinking & telling my 2 Dads if you will about my life i felt the Devil sneak in some words to me about ending my life. Now i haven't thought about ending my life since 10 years ago.. & i was hearing all sorts of lies from the Devil about how no one loves me blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda.. & i finally had heard enough from him & to put it point blank i told him to go to Hell. Yes, i know the Devil is in Hell now but i want him to be thrown now in that lake of fire NOW. Thankfully i know Jesus will do this when He comes back for us.

i feel a lot better! im feeling more happy! i know some of you who know me well are like how can this girl get be more happy?!? but believe me this girl has had her days.. i am human!

Well, i think that's all i wanna share for now. im sorry again it's been a while since i last posted but when im not feeling 100% myself i don't like to do much.

Howdy, i know it's been almost 2 weeks since i last posted but of course how can i let this glorious weekend especially go by without posting. i hope y'all had a wonderful Resurrection weekend. i did!

Friday: was pretty laid back then Andrew & i went to CR in the evening.. which we heard a great testimony.

Saturday: Andrew & i got together had lunch at Taco Time & went to this cool park in Sandy called Mining where we painted for a couple hours.. it was so cool being able to paint with him & just being with him always makes me so happy. So that day indeed will be very memorable in my book in my heart of adventures with Andrew. That evening we went to Church where he had kid duty & i stayed in the car because i wasn't feeling a 100% but after service was over we had Mosaic. We read John Chapters 18-21, which was cool because we saw some new things in the passages. We then went out to eat at Applebees where i was mind blown that my dinner only cost $4.15.. not bad for three little cheeseburgers & fries.

On Sunday morning, Andrew & i went to Church service.. which was WAY AWESOME SUPER FANTASTIC!! i love how JESUS in Stu's words.. Never gave up!! JESUS the lover of my soul indeed i know for sure never gave up or has on me.. THANK YOU JESUS!!

After service we came back home where we had Big Dad's side of the family over for lunch. It was nice & i got to see one of my youngest little cousins Ella who is almost 1 1/2.

Hi y'all, Hope ya had a wonderful weekend!?! Mine was a blast!! i spent Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon nannying a 3 1/2, 5, & almost 7 year old that hold a special place in my heart.

i wanted to share with you what i learned from living with the kids for a weekend, plus a few of my general rules on life.. in ABC form.. ready?!?

A- Always have a few back up ideas in case your first few don't work

B- Bath time is always fun when you have at least 25 toys in the tub with you

C- Compromises don't come ever easy no matter how old you are

D- Directions can be easy but you can skate around some, if your lucky!

E- Every one has a right to say how they feel

F- Forgetting one thing that Momma or Daddy does can get you into a little trouble but not much & your easily forgiven if you say you did forget

G- GOD is bigger then the boogy man! (Don't forget this when your scared at night!)

H- Helping hands make light work

I- I love you goes a long ways!

J- JESUS, singing Jesus loves me.. never gets old. It sooths the soul!

K- Kids go on their on schedule unless they've adapted to yours

L- Laugh at the smallest of things!

M- Mornings come faster, i mean WAY fast!!

N- Never say one thing when you mean another because kids do pick up on those things QUICK!

(nothing bad happened but just always a general rule i have)

O- Open.. Keep your arms always open for hugs that come out of no where

P- Prayer is vital even when your 3 1/2

Q- Quiet time is nice

R- Remember you're an example to those who are watching you

S- Sometimes take a moment & look at the whole picture or you'll lose your prospective

T- Teaching can come from the smallest of people

U- Understanding each side of the story is a key!

V- Veggie Tales don't get old even if you watch 6 movies in a row of them

W- Willing.. You have to be willing to put your needs last when it comes to kids & others!

X- X.. uh?!?

Y- Young.. Be young & youthful for the kids because being old gets old

Z- Z.. uh?! Zee-end!

Well, i know it's been almost 2 weeks since i last posted. i just have been doing more Facebook stuff. i did promise i'd still write on here so here it is though it maybe short due to me not feeling 100% great due to a cold.

Hmm?

It's Spring now, though it doesn't really feel like it much outside. i have caught a few glimpses of Sunshine which i have enjoyed when it is around.

Andrew & i are doing great! It's so amazing how God has been working in both of our lives for His glory.

My family is doing great too! My Ma & Big Dad have now been married for 17 years.. which is awesome! So happy for them!

My youngest cousin (well, 2nd cousin) Charlotte is going to be 1 on April 1st, which is cool!

This past Sunday my dear friend Mary & i went to the Rock & Worship roadshow where it was sold out with 11,000 plus crazy Christians yelling & screaming! It was fantastic! i got to meet Jeremy Camp, who's music/lyrics & personal testimony have effected me deeply. So, i can cross off meeting him off my bucket list. (Speaking of Bucket list i think i may post one on Facebook & here sometime) but it will be a bucket list of things that i'd like to do if GOD wills them for me to do before God calls me home bucket list. GOD be the glory always in all things i do, this i pray!

And speaking of things to do.. Ma & i this weekend get to watch 3 wonderful children who i absolutely love & adore, while their folks whom i also love are out of town.

Hmm? and speaking out of town.. my Aunt Lori is coming up from Texas tomorrow to stay for two weeks while she is either training or being trained for a job. Personal note, i pray it will be a fast two weeks while she is here but God willing He knows what's best for us all.

One more Hmm? i think that's about it because i need to lay down now. i hope y'all have a great last week of March 2009! Love y'all always!! Y

Funny Weather..

Howdy y'all! Don't you think it's amazing that here in Oregon it can be sunny, then rainy, then again sunny, then possible chance of snow, real high chance of snow then BOOM! SNOW! So indeed it snowed for three in a half hours.. it was beautiful to watch as Ma & i were watching one of our favorite movies.. Good-bye Mr. Chips. Very sweet & beautiful movie. Hmm? What else? Things are still going well with Andrew & i. Enjoying each moment & learning new things about one another too is such a blessing. i know this week is going to be one of my busiest this year.. i have Art class tomorrow, then Andrew will be coming over, Tuesday i do my Bible study homework then go to the Bible study that night, then work Wednesday from 8AM-3PM, (extra hours woohoo!) Thursday work again, Then Andrew & i have community life group at Bob & Alice's, then Friday relax for the most part until Andrew comes over & we go to Church for Loved ones night & Celebrate Recovery. Im exhausted now just writing all that down. LOL! i enjoy my life however & don't want to change it. So busyness is good for the most part for me if i know about it ahead of time. Oh i know some news, one of our long time friends Shannon is getting married perhaps in Mid-November to a very sweet man named Bill. So happy for the both of them!! Well, hmm? i can't think of much else but im sure i will after i go to bed which usually what happens. So with that i hope y'all have a wonderful start of the week & May God bless each of y'all!

Well, Hello dear ones! How was your week & weekend? Mine was pretty cool. Long week but wonderful, no complaints. Weekend was just as wonderful! i had a lot of fun going to various places with Andrew on Saturday. Since he has decided to try out watercolor (awesome!) we went to a park in Oregon City called Clackamitt (i believe that's what it was called) Anywho, we weren't able to paint because it was starting to sprinkle & that's very hard to paint in watercolor with the rain coming down on your work, however it makes sometimes neat effects on your work. im sure we will venture out again soon to paint or we will paint indoors, either way it'll be fun to do that with him. im tickled pink that he wants to try this & investing his time etc. into it.

Service was really awesome this weekend at our Church. Randy Alcorn & Steve Keels spoke about "Giving" i saw it giving not just money but "Giving of oneself." i don't know if others felt the same way but i sure did.

Sunday late afternoon i had a chick date with Mare. Since she & i both didn't go to our Church's Women's retreat (which a lot of women from Church did) we had our own little women's retreat. It was fun! We shopped in various places & had dinner at Quizno's.. (light on the ranch!)

Well, Hmm? i know this was one of my most strange posts.. but perhaps not. It's just me. i hope y'all have a great start of the week. im going to try to post sometime during the week instead of once a week but we'll see. May God bless y'all & Keep you close. Y

Howdy y'all! i thought i'd do my post like i did a while ago. So here it goes...

Last Monday i had Art class in the morning which was awesome. Tuesday i did my Women's Bible study which i went to that evening. That evening when i came home i was battling a headache that kept me up most of the night so i didn't go to work on Wednesday because i refused to be crabby in front of the children due to my lack of sleep the night before as stated above. Wednesday afternoon it finally went away. My family also had gone to the coast. Mary came over that evening, we had dinner & watched of all things American Idol. Thursday, i pondered for the longest time on which picture of Andrew's to paint. That evening he and i went to our growth group in Gresham which was very awesome! That evening i began a book that Andrew had given me to read called "My utmost for His highest" by Oswald Chambers. It so far is a very amazing book. Friday, i read it some more & that afternoon my family came home from the coast. Friday evening, Andrew & i went to our Celebrate Recovery which was awesome. Our lesson was on Inventory. Saturday, i hung around the house did my homework for Mosaic. Andrew & i went to Church which was awesome! Then Mosaic where we did a char actor study on Gideon from the Bible. Who i found a bit interesting. We then went to eat dinner at Applebees. Sunday morning, Ma & i had Runnabout duty which was fun. We had about 12 kids, some were new in there and did great! Andrew & i met up after he was done watching the kids for second service. We went to Taco Del Mar for lunch, drove around for a little bit & had a great time at Glen Otto park in Troutdale. So then tonight, had dinner with the family, took a shower, put things together for my art class that's tomorrow & watched some of the Oscars. So that's that.. i hope y'all have a great week. i know im not posting as much as i used to but that's because i like Facebook a little too much more then this blog but never less i will still post on this blog. Hi y'all! How was your week/weekend? Mine was SWEEEEEEEEET! On Friday: Andrew and i went to Church where we had double duty with Celebrate Recovery & Loved ones night. Both were a blast! Saturday morning i woke up to quite a bit of a surprise.. SNOW! On Valentine's day of all things.. Well, it has snowed on Saint Patrick's day so why not V-day.

Andrew came over with my first ever flower bouquet. (Ok, i did get one from my Big Dad on my 21st. Birthday.) It has as you can see Pink roses in it.. One of my favorite flowers. He also got me some beautiful things to pamper myself with. YAHOO!

He, Andy Bob & i met up with a few of our friends to go bowling at Mt. Hood bowling alleys. It was sooo fun!! Andy Bob had a blast, but i think we all did which was really cool! Then we all went to DQ to grab a bite to eat. We brought Andy Bob home and then headed out to Carver park where we drew, yes we both have that in common. We also talked about a lot of the Oregon parks we'd like to visit this year etc.

For my Valentine's day gift to him i got him some tent pegs (long silly story on that) & also he got to pick which place to go out to eat.. WALL STREET PIZZA! His favorite pizza place. Overall it was a very sweet Valentine's day with him.

On Sunday we went to Church where Stu taught us some vital lessons in life. i really enjoyed it.

We went out to Taco Time for lunch then he dropped me off since he had some things to do at home. i ended up crashing for a little while, then just chilled out with the family. Their planning on going to the Beach on Wednesday.

Well, How was your weekend? i know it seems like im only posting once a week now.. i know that's because of Facebook. im enjoying Facebook more but i'll still blog, just so i can write & get feelings out.

This Friday, i worked on my Bible study homework for our mini group that meets on Saturday. i was thankful to get that done. Andrew came over, & we took off to Celebrate Recovery. Great time as always there. A wonderful testimony was given. i had also a great visit with a dear friend of mine who does i feel understand where i was coming from with some issues i was having. That was a great time to listen to her. On Saturday, Andy Bob & i had the house to ourselves for a little bit while the folks were out shopping.

Andrew came over about 2:30ish, & we took off to Multnomah Falls. One of our favorite places to visit. It was so beautiful once again up there. The drive is breath-taking with all the green around & still some snow was seen on the ground too. A lot of people were up there as well. Which was cool to see the parents showing their little ones the Falls. i often wonder what a two year is thinking when looking at the Falls.

After we were done with visiting there, we went to DQ for a quick snack before heading out to Church. Pastor Alan took us through 2nd Corinthians 7:2-12 & also gave a great plug for Celebrate Recovery. He mentioned the people in Celebrate Recovery do indeed get it.. meaning to be broken & not to hide from their issues of the world. im thankful for my Celebrate Recovery family!

Before i went to group, i visited with some dear friends of mine who i think are such a beautiful well matched couple. i hadn't seen them in a while, so it was great to visit with them! In group we shared the Psalms we each picked to study. It was very cool! i very much enjoy learning in fellowship.

On Sunday, i overslept i think mainly do to being up until almost 2:30 in the morning playing the Wii. The Super Bowl was one of the most exciting ones i have seen in a long time. Though i wanted the Cardinals to win, they did give a dang good fight to try to win.

Well, i have Art class in the morning.. so im going to let y'all go for now so i can get my supplies in order. So y'all have a great start of the week now. Love to y'all & God bless! Y

Just who i am..

i can't change who i am, just as you can't change who you are. The only one that can change us is the good Lord, if that is His will and Yes, for the better He does change us. We may go through hard times, good times, bad times, laughing times, any times really. im more and more thankful He is changing me to be better then i have been. My life over the 34 years i have lived on this planet has had it's share of hard times, good times, bad times, laughing times and any times but by all means i don't think i'd change any thing in my life even the most hard times. i find myself growing to be more happy in life rather then letting life pass me by. i do things still that are crazy and just out there but i see myself rather living this life to the fullest rather then living until im dead. i was telling Andrew this past Saturday that it's been almost 10 years since i have thought of ending my life. i don't mind sharing that on here because im an open book, i don't believe in letting my book to be closed because i find growth in sharing and it's my choice on what i want to share or not. Going back the feeling of not wanting to end my life, is just amazing to me because i used to think that daily, hourly etc. in my old life before Jesus saved me again.. and yes i say again because i was walking with Jesus when i was younger but at age 6 i walked away from Him. im forever grateful that im His & He is mine now. My life is just at the point now where i find more happiness in things than grief. Most people that i have met would never think of me as a sad type but they don't know the whole story of my life either. im thankful too from where i have come from, which in my words was Hell. i literally stepped from Hell into Jesus' open arms.. THANK YOU JESUS!

Howdy! i know it's been since last Thursday i think it was when i last posted.. Well, Anywho.. this title is for my friend Mary!

What have i been up to since last Thursday? Hmm? Short of it, Celebrate Recovery.. Church & Runabouts on Sunday morning with Ma.

The best part of my week so far was yesterday (Monday) was when Andrew & i went up to Crown point to look at the view from the Vista house.. BOY HOWDY!! Was that ever cool!! i thought it was about 70 MPH winds come to find out it was a 100 MPH!! WOOHOO!!

In my life as of lately ok give or take almost the past 10 years i have been living life as it would be my last on earth.. Well, Andrew & i got out of the car doors ok, with the wind blowing insane i took our picture then he went back inside the car while i stood out and in our words i FLEWED!! OH MY!! Was it awesome!! While i was flying i was thinking (word picture) This is like God's awesome power, We can stand but yet we get knocked down to our knees because of how GLORIOUS He is!

Hmm? Tonight i had Women's Bible study & it was awesome! Now im home & about to go to take a HOT bath because im a little cold. So i hope y'all have a great one now! God bless y'all! Y

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty cool! i know i haven't been posting as much as i used to, that's because im liking the website "Facebook" a lot! i just find i can do a lot more on it, but like life it has it's funny ways too. On Friday, i started my new thing.. Working out on our Wii. Ma bought a program called Wii Fit. Since Friday, i've been working out for thirty minutes a day.. i know not a lot but it's a start & im proud of myself for doing so. im doing this for me, not Andrew (because he says he does love me for me, & same with my family) So, it is for my health & me. Friday evening, Andrew & i went to Celebrate Recovery where our lesson for the night was "Action" i so love CR still! i know i will never tire of it because i just love the idea that's where the broken are being healed little by little in God's timing. Saturday, worked out again not to long after i got up, took my shower, then worked on cleaning up the house some before making a nacho for the delayed Mosaic Christmas party Andrew & i were hosting at the house that evening. It was a really nice party. We had one of our friends who came, stayed for a little then left, but we ended up having 11 people including he & i. Sunday morning came fast as it always does when i have to get up early. Least Andy Bob wasn't awake when i had to get up. Which by the way still happens when i have to work he sleeps in. Sheesh! Anywho, Andrew came to get me, while he had first service with the kids i worked on putting notes in my Bible from our Thursday night Bible study. Then we met up & went to service.. Whoa!! We had an really awesome & beautiful young lady speak to us about the Sanctity of life. Her name is Gianna Jessen.. She was just really a breath of fresh air in the world as it is now. Her vision is of the Lord's, & this young lady just knows that the Lord has her working for His glory. i really deeply admired her. After Andrew brought me home, our family just chilled & did some misc. things around the house. i did my work out not to long ago, toke my shower & as you can tell im posting.. but im about to go for now because i have Art class in the morning. Howdy! How is everyone doing? Good i hope. i just got back a 1/2 hour ago from a Chick date with a close friend of mine & Andrew's that i feel like i have known forever but really it's only been like three years. im so Thankful to her because she helped me see some reasoning that i was misunderstanding in my life tonight. To sum our A-Z talk i'd say what i learned like this..

"Life is filled with unexpectancies, but if you know who (The Lord) is in control of them you'll feel reassured." & also her's & my new quote.. "Shut-up & Eat it!"

That's what i got out of our talk tonight plus a lot of laughter which i needed.

Now, speaking of laughter.. i did start back to work today at Church which was a BLAST! We only had 18 kids which isn't our highest count but still a lot of fun! It was great to see them after being on a three week Christmas vacation. We taught them today that you can pray to the Lord any time & any where & He'll hear you. i know most of the kids understood.

Hmm? As im posting tonight im listening to the rain & the wild wind outside our patio door, & Man! is it crazy!!

Well, i know this isn't the longest post but no problem.. im sure i'll write a long one soon.

Golly! Has it been forever since i last posted or what?! Happy NEW YEAR by the way y'all! i hadn't posted in a while because it turns out our cable decided to finally poop out right around Christmas time, we also had a broken cable. Isn't that just GREAT!? We thankfully got it up & running tonight just a little before 5 PM.

To give y'all a quick update- i had a blessed Christmas, very white no doubt with a little less then 2 feet on the ground. It was nice but yet, i was getting a little stir crazy. That was a little spooky feeling like that. Andrew was able to make it over for Christmas though, so i was very thankful i got to be with him & my family.

We rang in the New Year last Thursday, which im still like WHOA 2009 has come. So now im looking forward in ways God will change, mature & grow me this year. He broke me dang good last Friday at Celebrate Recovery which i did pray He would do since we had communion that night, & He did! i did see many things i need to grow & change about myself in my relationship with God & life itself.

Hmm? What else is new with me?! Andrew & i are still very happy together, my family is doing well, i start Art class again tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday i start back to work.. Hmm? i think that's all i can think of. i'll post again much sooner then before no doubt. So i hope y'all have a great first full week of 2009! i love y'all & may God bless y'all too! Y

Hi y'all! How are you doing? Staying warm?! Things are going pretty cool here. Maybe cool isn't the right word considering our weather has been nothing but cool. Golly Moses!

im thankful i don't drive but yet i keep in prayer those who do to have safe travels. Ma has been off of work since the snow storm came & is enjoying it a lot. She made her famous Christmas cookies today, so the house smelt so good. She makes over 48 dozen of each i think, if not more. Grandma was working on a lot of her Christmas cards today. Big Dad has been getting ready to deliver Christmas gifts with his fellow Gresham Breakfast Lions. Andy Bob is getting more & more excited about Santa coming next Wednesday night. Well, i almost have all my gifts wrapped for Christmas. Yesterday, Andrew had come over after work & we went to Fred's to pick up something for Grandma for Christmas & found our way in the toy section. Andrew had found this cute Cookie Monster toy that has a very awesome sound chip in it. It was so fun watching him play with this toy & he kept me laughing for about 10 minutes with it. i love the fact he isn't embarrassed to play with toys out in public. i perhaps love it because i do the same thing. You gotta try these toys out you know.. it's the rules!

Hmm? i can hear the wind blowing around outside & it's making me feel a bit chilly so i think im off to take a hot bath & warm up. i hope y'all have a great one now. May God bless y'all & Keep safe out there if you do venture out there OK. Love y'all! Y

WOW!

It's only been a week since my last posted & when i woke up this morning it had snowed & was still snowing. i couldn't believe how much kept coming down. The reason why i hadn't posted in a week is that our cable for the PC went out. It thankfully got fixed on Saturday afternoon before the cold front came in.

In other news: My Grandma came home after three weeks in Texas last night. It was to strange with her gone for that long, but we're all very happy she is home now.Today: (Sunday) after waking up at i don't really remember when i talked to Andrew for a little & he was stuck at home too but he was very happy it snowed. He loves the snow, i can't wait to get pics of him & me when we start going up to the Mt. Hood area to inner tube. Also this afternoon, My family & i decided before it got any later or worse that we would go to a near by farm & get our Christmas tree. We found a good one that we all liked, but Big Dad measured it & it turns out that it was 10 feet & we only have an 8 foot ceiling in the front room. So away go some feet!! Too funny! We will have it up soon in the house & decorated once it's done drying.

i took Moochie out for a little as you can see in the picture below. i wanted him to feel it. i love the fact the picture caught him licking his nose. Too cute & Too Funny!

i wanted to share also how Big Dad's Christmas lights glow with the snow on them at night, it's so beautiful! & Breath takin'.

Andrew said this on Saturday, & i thought if my weekend continues to go the way it was i'll use it for my title on Sunday evening's post.

So, On Friday: i watched Andy Bob since both Big Dad & Ma were gone, which was no problem. He was perfect. That evening Andrew came & we went to Celebrate Recovery where we had an awesome treat. Our special speaker was Stu Weber. WOW! Was he ever cool how he told the story in the Bible (Joshua 14) of Joshua & Caleb.. & applying it to Celebrate Recovery. My favorite quote he said was- "Life is a battle, we're all wounded at some point in the field." Woo! That's powerful!

Saturday morning Ma & i got up at 5 AM. Why? Because her hairdresser overbooked & she needed a perm bad & he could only fit her in at 5:30 AM. YUCK! But yet worth it because she got me a Starbucks Peppermint mocha- Yum! i also went to help her keep awake on the way home. That afternoon after the folks & Andy Bob went to a birthday party Ames & Sean came over to visit. It was great seeing both of them. Ames had been sick for three weeks, so it was great to visit & catch up. Andrew came over around 4 & we all visited before He & i headed out to Church. Where Praises to Jesus were sung. Stu also took us through almost what he took us through the previous night but in 2nd Corinthians 4. Very awesome! Afterwords, We went to Mosaic where Andrew finished us up in 1st John. Very informative too!

Sunday morning always seems to come early when you have to be at Church for babies/kids. Ma & i only had three but ended up with one. It's always fun to be with her & babies or kids, she's awesome!

i met up with Ames after that, visited various people besides her & then Sean & Andrew met up with us & we took off to lunch at a new place for me called Sunny Hun's. It was pretty dang good if i do say. After that, Andrew had free time before he went to work at the pizza place (which he does on Sundays). So we went back his families farm got some things for his Ma's shop then hung out for a while before coming back home. As we were pulling in we noticed a couple in our driveway that we both were like WHOA! It was Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus. Can you believe it?! They were in the neighborhood & came to see Andy Bob. (See a very happy young man below) That was such an awesome way to start an evening.

After they left, my family & i took it easy. Now im posting & about to say Have a great start of the week & God bless y'all! Y

Some Things I don't understand...

Hello y'all! Hope your having a nice week so far. i'm doing great! i have been thinking about doing this certain post for a while, since perhaps last year around the same time but thought maybe Nah! i'll pass & wait until next year.. So here it is.

Some Things I don't understand

1. Why is it that my brother Andy Bob gets up always way early (i mean way early like sometimes before the sun comes up on everyday) but sleeps in the day i have to get up at a little before 8 AM to go to work on Wednesday.

2. Why is it that the Public (like specifically Malls, Stores, etc.) play Christmas music that clearly is sending the message that Christ is born & the world is thankful that He is born etc. but yet they (the public) call it Holiday music. i have never heard any songs singing about Hanukkah or Kwanzaa played out in public.

3. Along that same note, with Why #2.. Why is it called a Holiday tree now instead of a Christmas tree? Do the other Holidays have trees? i think not!

4. Why do these huntin' dogs have teeth that look like some of my relatives teeth?

Well, there's some of the why's i have or had come in my mind. You don't have to tell me what you think, but you can if you want. i just find those things interesting to ponder.

364 Days & Feelin' Groovy!

Hi y'all! Did y'all have a nice Thanksgiving? Mine was pretty cool, the real fun however started when i went to bad Thursday night at 9 & couldn't get to sleep until almost 2 in the morning. Ma woke me up at 3 for our annual BLACK FRIDAY run. We got to the mall at 3:30 Penny's decided to open a little earlier so we rushed in with the other million people there, got our great deals throughout the mall & were done about 6:45. We got home about 7, went back to bed got up again about 11:30ish.. Then not to long after that Andrew came over since he didn't have work & we took off for another awesome adventure. We went for a quick bite to eat, then got spontaneous & went to Mt Hood Bowling alleys.. then he took me to the scrapbook store, then off to Celebrate Recovery. Celebrate Recovery's lesson was on Sanity. Very awesome lesson! However, we always sing before Recovery begins & i nearly fell off my chair if it weren't for Andrew catching me because i was still very tired from running around earlier that morning. So when i came home took my shower, then off to bed. Ahh!

Saturday morning came, Andrew came over again & we took off to the Mt. Hood area plus a mini stop at Trillium Lake. The water was so still & just perfect though you couldn't see the mountain it was still just wonderful. We also just looked around in the Sandy area at the new Bi-Mart & off to Church. We were really busy & had loads of fun this weekend as we always do.

Sunday: Ma & i had kid duty today.. she was downstairs & i went upstairs to be with the two year olds. Their always a hoot to be around! After Church was over & Andrew playing Hide & Seek on me, Ma & i went to the Troutdale mall for a little bit then to Winco to get some misc. things. We came home, watched some football & then i went to take a nap. i think im going to go back to my room & work on my Women's Bible study homework so i can get that done before Tuesday.

Well, before i forget.. (Not that i would) will be a full year since Andrew & i began our Dating Adventure. HOLY COW!! A year! We have done a lot of growing with each other & especially with the Lord. He is our center & keeps us both very level headed. There is so much i could tell you about why i love him but the most vital thing i want to share with y'all about him is something i have said before, This guy never ceases to amaze me.

Howdy y'all! How was your weekend? Mine.. GRRREAT! On Friday, i helped out here with misc. things because it was a little harrier then normal but that's alright because the Lord doesn't give more then we can handle.. right?!

That evening, Andrew came & we made a quick decision to go to Taco Time instead of eating at Celebrate Recovery like we usually do. It was YUM of course. Celebrate Recovery was cool. We heard a great testimony. i love how the Lord has moved so many lives in CR.

Get this at 2:55 AM on Saturday i got up, went with Ma to take Grandma to the airport for her 4:00 AM flight to Texas. i mainly went to keep Ma awake while driving home. My mouth never does shut-up.. OK at times it does. By the time we got home it was almost 4:30.. so we both went back to bed. i didn't get up until almost 1130ish. Ma took Andy Bob & myself out to a quick bite to eat & we also looked around at Bi Mart for a little while.

Andrew came over & he took me antique shopping. Which was fun! i got a very beautiful necklace from him that i love & cherish. We met up with some very close friends of ours that he has known since he was a teenager & i have known for almost three years.. we went out to Calamity Jane's for my Birthday dinner. It was soooo dang good! & a lot of fun to enjoy their company. Andrew & i from there went to Misc. places & just had a blast being with each other.

i got quite a few nice things for my Birthday, which was too cool!

On Sunday, he came by & we went to Church. He had kids during first service, so i read. Then we met up again & went to service.. where we heard various messages with one special meaning of Reaching out. Least that is what i got out of it. After he had brought me home (he had some things to do at his home too) i mowed our yards. i didn't even scalp it once, im very proud of myself.. HEHE!

Then Ma, Andy Bob & i went to see the new Disney movie called Bolt. It was very cute! From there, we came home & chilled.. now just taking it easy & posting.

i have Art class in the morning, so now im looking forward to that. im working on a Christmas painting of poinsettias that look a bit on the abstract side. i'll have to show a picture of them on here & those of who want to can tell me what you think.

Hi y'all! How has your week been? i know i have the world's longest blog title but it fits!! My week has been a lot better, thank you for the prayers concerning my family etc. im good besides that. im looking forward to my Birthday this Saturday the 22nd. i was thinking what indeed a blessed year it has been since my last birthday. im very happy with my walk with the Lord, my peace of mind, & just overall very happy with where my life is going. There is so many things that the Lord is doing in my life, it's hard to contain it all. i feel like im flying more then half the time. Today, i had work which as most of you know i love! i love being with the kids. It's tough to let go of them when their Ma's come or when they tell me they love me which how can i not tell them i love them back. It's so awesome to be able to be such an impact of a young persons life. i love that responsibility & i take it very seriously.

Well, i gotta go help out with some things with my Big Dad but i hope y'all have a great weekend! God bless y'all too! Y

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Honestly Mine was up & down & up. It was one of those weeks anyway. im just gonna cut to the chase on saying the sad news for those who don't know. My Big Dad's Dad pasted away on Friday. i wasn't really really close to him but close enough to say he was a good Grandad to Andy Bob & me. i know this may sound selfish to ask right off the bat, but please Pray for my Big Dad. He has a terrible weight on him with this loss, and he also has to be like the main guy to handle all the mess after someone passes on. He said he is at peace with his Dad's loss but i know he also is having a heck of a time with that side of the family. Thank you for your prayers.

Also on Friday: i did some odds & ends around here then Andrew came over & we took off to Celebrate Recovery. We were taught about HOPE. i love how God brought me that word especially for that day. On Saturday: i watched the Oregon State Beavers play Cal, did some clean up around here & took a little nap since i didn't sleep well on Friday. i kept waking up because i was dreaming about my real Dad. In the early evening Andrew came & we took off to Church. We watched the annual Baby dedication (Way to go Caleb!) & have an awesome sermon by Keels. After service was over, we had our group Mosaic meet up & Andrew took us through 1 John 3 & most of 4. i enjoy learning new things & insights.

On Sunday: Ma & i got up a little early since we had Runnabout duty. We had 13 kids, & they were too fun! When we got home, i mowed the yards (it did take 25 minutes, you were right Andrew.. hehe!) Ma & Grandma prepared the Early Thanksgiving dinner. We had an early one because Grandma is leaving on my birthday (this coming Saturday) to go to Texas to visit my Aunt & Uncle for three weeks. So some of Ma's side came over. It was fun & mostly enjoyable. The pic is of my Grandma's 80 year old hand & my 2nd. cousin Charlotte 8 month old hand. i may do a painting of that, it maybe abstract.. not sure yet.

Hi, How was your weekend? Mine, was alright & cool! On Friday, it was a laid back pretty much day until Andrew came & we took off to Loved ones/ Celebrate Recovery at Church. We both spent most our time in the Loved ones area. It was fun! It's fun watching Andrew play with the little kids that are in grade school because he just knows how to play right where he isn't the bully nor a sissy type. On Saturday, i did some research on 1st John because we would be going over it in our group after Church. i found some things to be very profound in it, such as John saying.. "Little Children" This was very affectionate thing to say as well as endearing. Well, We did go to Church where we listened to our special speaker an U.S. Army Chaplin who took us through 2nd.Chronicles 32:1-23. He said there are three essential ingredients in life as well as in this passage. The funny thing was, (well maybe not funny ha-ha) but the title of this sermon was "How to Face the Fear of the Future." i found this sermon to indeed bring me more assurance since last Tuesday our country elected a new President that believes in many things i do not & i didn't really know how to for sure feel about this. But as a Christian i will pray for this President because that is the right thing to do & what the Lord calls us to do.After Church, Andrew & i did go to our group where he took us through 1st John chapter 2. He did a great job! He did a lot of digging to get as much as he could out of that book too, so it was very interesting all the ties. We went our for dinner at Old Chicago, where i hadn't been in a while. It was yum!

On Sunday, i overslept some because i didn't go to bed until almost 3 in the morning. i worked on my Women's Bible study homework. So pretty much Sunday was just as laid back as Friday with a few exceptions.

Hi y'all! How's your week been going? Wet, rainy, cold?! Mine yes has but it has been a blessed week so far too. Yesterday, in the early afternoon i worked on my latest painting. (i will post it when im all done for y'all to see.) i also read some various subjects on the Internet concerning subjects from A-Z on life. i also went to Women's Bible study where we reviewed Romans 3:1-12. Very powerful first few verses.. No one is rightous, Not even one. "Thank you Jesus for washing me clean with your mercy!"

Most of you know from my last post, Andrew & i have been dating for 11 months. i still am beyond cloud 9 with this guy. It's been a greatfabloustic 11 months with him. i fall in love with him for a new reason(s) each time were together. It's just a lot of fun to be with someone who knows you so well & enjoys to & vice versa. His birthday is soon, & im caught thinking.. "What do i get this guy?" i have some ideas from him because i am the bold type to just ask, "What would you like?" So maybe indeed i will go with what he suggested & throw in my own ideas what to get him too.. HEHE!

i had today work, which is always an adventure in itself working with 3-4 year olds. i wouldn't trade my job for any in the world right now. i love them all! My one little girl there made a beautiful pink/purple (mostly pink because she knows i like pink) bracelet. i truly am going to cherish it for a long time. i think it's awesome to be adorned with gifts from children because they do it indeed from the heart. It's not really being adorned but being loved by them that captures my heart & connects me to them.

Hi y'all! Here goes another fun entry of mine about my weekend. It all started on Friday afternoon when i painted some, cleaned up some & worked on misc. things around the house. That evening Andrew & i went to Celebrate Recovery, where even though it was Halloween we had a sweet message there of "Powerless". Another vital key into recovering from hurts, habits & hang-ups.

Saturday came & for those who didn't hear for the past month in a half is Andy Bob's Birthday. It was pretty cool to be able to be goofy with him as it always is. It was also Andrew's & my 11 months of Dating anniversary thingy. He came over & we hung out for a little bit before going with Andy Bob to Church & Mosaic where Andrew took us through a couple of chapters of 1st John. He will finish this coming Saturday with the rest. From Mosaic we went as a large group to Wong King's for Andy Bob's Birthday dinner. i don't think Andy Bob took that many bites of his sweet & sour chicken just due to all the excitement of friends being around him. Which is a pretty sweet thing for him. i so much enjoy having true friends that love Andy Bob for who he is.

On Sunday, Ma & i had Nursery duty at Church where to Ma & my disappointment but understanding also the coffee shop at Church was closed. We however still got one on the way out. When we got home we cleaned up the house because some of our family & Andrew was coming over to celebrate Andy Bob's Birthday. It was cool! The best part was having a white cake with a rainbow on it & Ma putting Army soldiers on it. i should of got a pic it was too funny! After the party died down Andrew & i went out to Fred's where i got some medicine for my sinus infection & then off to Boarders where he got a new cookbook. When we came home & after he left i took some of this medicine laid down on my bed which i had planned for an hour at 8:45 PM & didn't get up until 4:00 AM. Boy! That was kinda freaky!

Today, i went to Art class where im almost got all done with my newest work. Then a couple hours after i came home, Andrew came over & we went out to be together for a little bit before heading out to dinner at Wall Street pizza.. YUM!

Howdy y'all! How has your week been so far? Can you believe it's almost the end of October? My does the time fly. Yesturday, i went to Art class where we nearly finished our class project of birch trees with fall leaves. In the later afternoon when Andrew got off of work he & i went to Barton park where we took a lot of tree & nature pictures. He & i both love trees & nature.. so it was a lot of fun! Trees just have such a beautiful way about them as it is. Like our faith if we contunie to reach out like the branches grow upwords to the Lord.i laid on my back taking quite a few pictures because i like the diffrent views i can see in my camera as well as in my head. My mind for the most part tends to keep on produces paintings or ideas for paintings if i allow it to. It's quite interesting to be an artist, sometimes annoying because i'll wake up once in a while with a painting idea & i need to sketch it down or i'll forget it & later regret it.

Well, Tonight (Tuesday) i went to Women's Bible study where my Bible study leader told me one of our pastors on Saturday told her that he loves my smile & that im always smiling when he sees me especially with Andrew. My art instructor told me that on Monday too. i love it! i know to be honest i always am smiling when im with him, because the Lord has blessed me with him & Andrew tends to reflect the Lord in many asspects, how can i not be drawn to a man like him.

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Once again we had beautiful Fall weather where i am in Oregon. WOW!

Well, where do i start? Do i tell you on Thursday while at KFC with Andrew before our small group met up, i was feeling sick & ended up puking in his car.. & that he helped me as much as he could to feel better. Do i tell you on Friday evening we went to Celebrate Recovery where we celebrated our 3rd Anniversary of CR at Good Shepherd. Do i also tell you that Andrew & i had another great chat on Friday night too, which was awesome! Do i tell you on Saturday afternoon we went to Winco where he pointed out another guy maybe his age with 24 packages of Top Roman & some egg nog.. (LOL! that was too funny!)

Or i could tell you that on Saturday evening we went to Church after Dairy Queen & had one of the best communions i've partook in. And that we got prayed over by some dear friends that are here from Serbia. i could also tell you that at my house we had a pre-Halloween party with more people then i thought could actually fit somewhat comfortable in our dinning area. (By the way, i love this pic of Andy Bob & Andrew.. Andy Bob is like, uh! im not reaching in there Andrew!)

i could tell you also that i mowed Sunday afternoon, took a shower then spent some overdue chicky time with my good friend Mary & that we drove a lot to different stores in Gresham looking at a lot of things & having dinner at Elmer's.

i could also just let ya know im winding down now from a busy weekend but a really fun one too. i always look forward to having fun no matter what comes my way. i don't like just letting my life pass, i want it to move & move it shall. As i heard this weekend, "Jesus was always where movement was happening."

Do Squirrels take notes?

Hi y'all! As some of you know, (previous post) i didn't post a long one just because it was a hard weekend for me. i hadn't had one of those in a while. So it did take it's toll on me. Thankfully, God is a God of promise & i do feel a lot better.

Yesterday, (Monday) i went to Art class where as a class we are painting a fall scene. It's coming out so nicely so far. im learning so many new skills in class, im loving it! The funny thing is that always when im painting i have other painting ideas get in my head. So while working on one & letting it dry i quickly work on another or least sketch the idea out before i forget it.

Andrew came by in the evening after he was done with work & we went up to Multnomah Falls to look at some fall colors & of course the falls. Such a beautiful sight! Isn't it amazing how colors of trees can be so vivid. We for dinner went to Wall Street pizza. YUM! We hadn't been there in a while, so it was fun to go. i always have a lot of fun when im with Andrew, he knows how to cheer me up & make me laugh.

This morning, (Tuesday) i woke up about 8ish with a huge headache. Ouch! It hurt to blink. So i fell back to sleep & almost didn't want to get up but did because i had Women's Bible study. We reviewed Romans 2:1-12. God, judges in truth. i asked myself then, "What do i judge in when you do?"

Well, tomorrow morning i work with the three year old kids, which im excited about. im enjoying my time with them & their growth so far this almost 2 months of being with them.

Hi y'all! This isn't going to be like my other posts in the past, im going to make it a little short & sweet.

Everything is wonderful as it always is with Andrew. Had a great weekend with him.

Some other parts of my weekend were fun. But it was one of those weekends in my life where im very thankful i have God who promises me assurance as well as restoration in pains of this life.

So with that, i do hope y'all have a great start of the week & remember to always look at the bigger picture that God will indeed bring assurance & restoration to those who seek it.

i know an intersting title, HEHE!

How has your week been going? Mine, enjoyable! Today i went to work, where we had 21 kids. We learned about FORGIVENESS! Awesome lesson! It was kind of ironic that here we learned about that this past weekend at Big Church & then taught our kids that today while the Women were at their Bible Study. Speaking of Bible Study, i went to it last night. We finished up Romans chapter 1. It was a pretty harsh lesson but wonderful at the same time. It was about God's wrath. The gal that reviewed the lesson for us mentioned that a lot of people think that God's wrath only happened in the Old Testament. Now, that's something to ponder isn't it.

Before i went to Bible study Andrew came by & we went to various places looking for Halloween decor. Then to eat at KFC, which we hadn't been there for about a month.

Being with him always brightens my day & he always makes me happy with something he does or says.

Well, Now Thursday is coming up & i have a few things to do before Andrew comes over for dinner then off we go to our Community life group. im sure i'll get them done.

i forgot to mention in my last post that im almost done with my one painting of an old barn that Big Dad took down. It's looking awesome if i do say so myself.

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Mine was cool! On Thursday, i worked at Church because it was Mom to Mom. It was fun! A bit busier then i thought but we handled it just fine. We also got the little girl we give care to for the weekend. That evening Andrew & i had our community life group which was awesome!

On Friday, while our little one was napping Ma & i worked on her scrapbook. We found out she is going to be moving to be with her new family & we wanted to give her this gift so she will always know she was & is forever loved by us. When the evening came around, Andrew & i took off a little earlier to Church. We had Loved Ones, which was pretty cool.

Saturday came a little earlier because it does when you have a 2 1/2 year old running around the house. All was good though. i was in charge of giving her a bath & getting her ready. We watched some college football & waited for Andrew to come on over because we were & our little one were going to the Pumpkin patch. Have you ever taken a 2 1/2 year old to the Pumpkin patch? LOL! It was funny because she looked at us like.. "What? Pick one? Why?" When we came home Big Dad & the little one carved it which was funny to watch. She didn't really know what to think of the "guts" as we call it.

After that Andrew & i took off to Church (ok, first a quick bite to eat then off to Church) Where Stu took us through Forgiveness in 2 Corinthians 2:5-11. Forgiveness was for a long time a hard thing for me to do. i think it's due to having a few too many trauma's happen to me as a little girl. Then after service was over we met up with our Mosaic group who hadn't met since mid-July. We went over what we wanted to do with our group & where we would like to see it go.

Sunday came, i got to sleep in a little bit before Ma came to wake me up 10 minutes before my alarm was due off.. LOL! Andrew came over & we hung out for a little bit before he took me to Church where i met up with Sean & Amy for some lunch etc. We went to Quizno's & then down to Airport way to get some things for Ames that she needed at Michael's craft store, Ok i admit i got somethings too.

Then after coming home i mowed the front & back yards.. Yahoo! without scalping any of the front! After that i came in took my shower & watched the little one with Ma for a while before she had to go back home. Shortly after she left i went to my room to do my Women's Bible study homework & ended up falling asleep on my bed, so i'll finish the study tomorrow after art class.

Oh! The weather to me is getting so WONDERFUL here in Oregon where im at. i love the smell of the fall air & just the changing colors happening more & more is sweet! It's what makes being an artist so fun!Yesterday, i painted some just to see if i could get my mind to relax.. no such luck so i ended up watching one of my favorite war movies from 1967.. The Dirty Dozen. Then i watched a little of Gladiator before Andrew came over for dinner. He took me to Women's Bible study where Janis B. took us on a review of Romans 1:1-17. Boy howdy! is she an awesome motivator on the gospel & how to live for Jesus. She's a very real & humble woman of the Lord too which makes her indeed a breath of fresh air. i have yet to see a speaker at Women's Bible study let alone our church to see them full of themselves rather then the Holy Spirit.

Today, i went to work. We only had 16 kids which is almost half less then we had last week, which was nice. i heard however they had 36 kids in the 4-5 year old classroom. My hats off to those ladies who taught that class. Today we learned God's promise(s) to Abraham. It's so cool watching the kids listen intently to the story & they have such cute comments about what they just heard. i have Mom to Mom tomorrow morning so it will be another busy morning but it's cool because i enjoy my job & i really enjoy being around the kids.

Well, my other news is my Big Dad came home this evening back from Deer huntin'. Yes, i said huntin'. He didn't get anything but a lot of rest which his body needed. So that's a good thing to know. The house is sure weird without him, just like it is when any of us are gone.

Hmm? i can't really think of much more to say.. except i just love where i am at in my life. i can't thank God enough for my life He has blessed me with. WooHoo! If i don't post on Friday i do hope y'all have a great weekend. Stay warm now!! Much love always & God bless y'all too! Y

Hi y'all! Has Fall weather arrived here or what this weekend? Wow! In some sense i absolutely love hearing the rain pound on my bedroom window. On Friday, Grandma had some of her dear friends who are all about her age come over to play Bunkco. Most of my morning was spent helping her clean up the house & do things she can't do anymore, which i don't mind. They were all in the kitchen/dining room area so i parked it in the front room & watched the first movie they did of the Titanic from 1958. Andrew called me about 2:30ish & it was near the end of the movie so of course i was weepy.. what a girl! He came to get me & we took off to eat a late lunch at Taco Time where we ended up having a great talk. i don't think we've ever had a bad one because we both are always authentic & real with each other on how we feel etc. We ended up going to a sweet park in Sandy where we continued to have our talk. From there of course made our way to Church where we went to Celebrate Recovery. We cheered & clapped for those who accomplished some pretty hard stuff in their Recovery process.

On Saturday, i did some reading & some other things around the house & met up with Andrew again (never a complaint to meet up with him) & we went to the Scrapbook store, i got some new things of course. Then we went to Church where Dan Franklin took us through 2 Corinthians 1:12-2:4. Talk about being real & authentic, Paul seemed never to lack these things either in his life. As i heard Dan talking about how it is a good thing to be that way, i was thinking.. This is why i go to Celebrate Recovery.. All the people who seem to do the program there know they can only find complete healing in Jesus if they are real & authentic with Him & their recovery. i personally go because im in Recovery from the loss of my real Dad when i was four,being abused in all sorts of ways by my first step-dad & other childhood traumas. It's just a place to be & to be real with even yourself about your past & to have hope that Jesus has been with you through it all & continues to. After Church he & i went to Calamity Jane's then back home to watch IronMan on DVD with Andy Bob.

On Sunday morning, Ma & i had Nursery. She & i ended up having another one of those great Ma & Daughter talks. im still thankful she can be real with me in reality. It helps keep me level in that sense.

We came home & started watching Baseball & really haven't stopped watching it. Hopefully by the time im done with this post the Boston Red Sox would have one their series against the Anaheim Angels.

Well, i best be going indeed for now because i have Art class in the morning & cookies to make when i come home. Wish me luck on that, since im not a master cook yet. i hope y'all have a wonderful start of the week. God bless y'all too! Y

Howdy y'all! It's been some awesome weather here in Oregon so far this week. i am starting to notice the filmier smell in my nose of fall.. awe crisp air. It's a beautiful scent & just keeps getting better. Such as life, if you allow God to show you how beautiful it can be with Him & Jesus. i so love how God shows that to me daily.

i went to Women's Bible study tonight & a lady whom i admire (Julie Shakleford) took us through the life of Paul for the introduction into Romans. Very interesting information she found out about him & gladly shared with us.

Tomorrow i have work with the kids which i very much enjoy. Also tomorrow will be 10 months of being blessed by the Lord with Andrew. im so thankful to the Lord for the journey we've been through so far. i've learned a lot about myself & i just keep enjoying my life with him & i know it's because we've asked the Lord to keep in the center of our relationship & to guide us to do His will & not ours.

Here is one i need more thing i want to share before i let y'all go for tonight. Tonight, while at Woman's Bible study one of our leaders mentioned if anyone had prayer requests that the group could keep in prayer to let them indeed know. i was thinking about mentioning this one of mine that i've been talking to the Lord about lately & i felt almost a thump in my head & the Lord saying, "Don't worry about it, I told you I have it handled." Alright Lord, i responded, but that was a little scary how you did that. Course ya know what y'all, He does that sometimes to me.. Meaning He gives me a good thump in the head to let me know He's got all things handled for me.

Hi Y'all! Boy! Was this a weekend of surprise weather! My weekend started on Thursday when Andrew & i went up to Trillium lake. Hardly anyone was on the water or camping so it was very peaceful & just a great time to be together with the Lord. The temperature was 37* when we left so im not sure how cold it was when we were there in camp but it was warm from the fire that Andrew made for us.

On Friday, we got our little girl we watch again. Ma, her & i met up with Andrew for lunch at Burger King, which was cool! Then he & i went shopping some then off to Celebrate Recovery in the evening. We went through the lesson of YES. It's one of the last lessons in the series. True, i have heard this lesson before but if you let any lesson you've heard before teach you something new you indeed can learn something new.

Saturday came & so did the Murphy's. They came to get me for a Scrapbook date with Ames. It was a great time to be with her & scrapbook cards etc. We watched three movies & had some sweet lunch via Taco Bell.. Yum!

Andrew came to get me & we went to Church where Steve Keels took us through 2 Corinthians 1:1-10. WOW! i love when our pastors at Church admit they are human too & feel things like the rest of the flock. Steve said this quote that just stopped me in my tracks, "God will sometimes put a mirror in front of your face to see where you are at." If that isn't powerful!! Whoa! i was convicted.

From there we went home & Andrew made us some pizza for dinner. Yum! i love his homemade pizza! We watched Cops & America's most wanted before he had to go back home. On Sunday morning, He came back & we drove up to Promontory Lake where my family was day camping & fishing. We tried our luck fishing but didn't get anything. Oh-well! The drive up there was so beautiful. i love how the Lord lays out the land & mountain ranges. Holy Cow is it just breath taking. it was fun! i just got done with mowing the backyard, so now im off to take a shower & take a little nap because my body is hurting. Then after i get up i'll do my Women's Bible study homework.

Howdy y'all! How has your first week of Fall been? Mine, i'll just say WooHoo! Yesterday, i was still recovering from a cold/headache/icky feeling.. but i did get to feeling better by mid-afternoon. Ma & i took our 30 minute walk around the neighborhood & by the time we got home Andrew had come not to long after & we got a bite to eat before he took to me Women's Bible study. We reviewed our mini lesson of How to do an Inductive Bible study. In my mini group i got to know most of the other ladies & where they were born etc. It was interesting to know most of them are not from Oregon.Wednesday morning came, & i drug out of bed. i got to work in good timing & began work with my kids there. We had twenty today which is a good number. They were a lot of fun & just enjoyable. We learned about God & What He created the first 7 days.

Andrew picked me since he had taken off the week of work & was close by & because my family had gone over to a Great Uncle & Aunt's place for lunch. He brought me home & had to go back to what he was doing at His parent's work & came back a couple hours after he had finished. We went then to Fred's & picked up some things for our mini trip up to Trillium Lake (yes, again WooHoo!) tomorrow or Friday morning. Then we went to a new park where we explored the Sandy River bank & loads of wilderness. It is called Glenn Otto Park in Troutdale. http://www.ci.troutdale.or.us/parks-facilities/documents/glennottopark.htm It was very beautiful! im sure we will go back again since we both love the outdoors & exploring the wilderness.

From there we went to the Daycare to finish up for the last time. Thank the LORD it is all done & completed! BIG WOOHOO & THANK YOU LORD!

So, now im posting after taking a long hot shower & getting ready for bed & also after i talk with my dear friend MC.

Howdy y'all! How was your weekend? Mine, OH what word can i use this time to describe it? OK, i got one.. A BLAST! On Friday, i helped Big Dad post some things on Craig's list. Did some misc. things around here before Andrew came to get me & where we took off to Celebrate Recovery. Alan Hlavka was our special speaker, & he indeed is one of our Biggest cheerleaders of Celebrate Recovery. My favorite thing he said was, "If Jesus were physically alive right now on earth, He would be at Celebrate Recovery." Isn't that awesome! After Recovery was over, Andrew & i went to Winco to pick up a few things for our next day trip to Trillium Lake. So, that brings me to Saturday afternoon. Which he came by about 1:00ish because he had to help out first with some firewood at our friends house. We took off after a brief pit stop for a few last minute things at Fred's & a bite to eat at Taco Time. We got to Trillium Lake before 4:00, it wasn't too cold nor boiling hot which made awesome fishing weather. We did go fishing, & i caught about a two inch trout if not a hair smaller. He had to go back in the lake because he was to small to keep. Oh-well! For dinner, Andrew cooked us some monster T-Bone steaks we were blessed with by his pizza boss TJ, & some red potato's with mushrooms & garlic.. OH MY GOSH!! Talk about YUM a million times over! He & i both love Trillium Lake & it was just very enjoyable to be able to go there again with him. We went home by 9 that night & got back to my house not to long after 10. God blessed us with some new memories there & His beautiful scenery.On Sunday morning, i got up to work in the Runnabouts with Ma. We had 8 girls & 1 boy. The kids are always fun to be around. After that i met up with the Murphy's & went to service with them. Dan Franklin took us through the opening & quick overview of what we will be studying as a Church for perhaps the next 9 months.. 2nd Corinthians! After service, we went to lunch at Quizno's. (My other half as Ames likes to call Andrew was working at home at his parent's place.) Then we went back to their apartment where they could get their hoodies & tennis shoes. On the way there i noticed Bert on the side of the road. Yes, the very Bert from Sesame Street. i had to beg Sean to take a pic of him & i. Don't tell me he wasn't the real Bert or that would just ruin the pic that follows.

See, told you! Wahoo!

After we got going again.. we drove up through Mt. Hood's forest. We weren't able to see Mt.Hood. It was once again just as beautiful as the day before & just as green. Sean drove us up to Timberline Lodge (where i hadn't been since i was a little girl). It was really cool to go through what we could & couldn't in some cases. We walked into where a Wedding ceremony would be taking place perhaps within an hour or two. It was a beautiful layout! Some of the lower level of the lodge where we were looking around looked like the Pirates of the Caribbean ride to me from Disneyland if not a prison from France or something like that. Here's a silly pic of Sean, Ames & Smokey the bear. i don't know where Sean is looking but it's a cute pic of them.

Well, we made it back home a little after 4 & after they left i crashed because i wasn't feeling top notch. Now, im watching Facing the Giants while posting. i am feeling a little bit better, which is a relief.

Hi y'all! How has your week been so far? Mine, peachy keen! or is it king? i think it's keen so i'll stay with that.. anywho, it's been fun! Yesterday, i hung around here reading a little bit then got ready for when Andrew came over & we took off for dinner at Calamity Jane's, YUMMY! Then he took me to my first night of Women's Bible study! It was cool! A lot more ladies have joined this year, which is awesome. We're going to be studying the book of Romans. Which should be quite awesome! After that was over, Mare & i headed to Fred's to catch up since we hadn't seen each other in about three weeks due to Labor Day etc. It was a great time to hear what's going on in her life.

This morning when i got up, i knew it was going to be a long day but i got up. i know Moochie wasn't wanting to get up at 7:50 but i left him at the foot of the bed still asleep. i got to work & began my day with a new bunch of three year olds. i had a few return-ees from last year which i was happy to see. We ended up having 24 kids today, which is a lot compared to what it was like last year, but i love them all!

When i got home i made myself lunch & watched the movie Gladiator with Ma before taking an hour nap. i knew i couldn't nap long because Andrew would be on his way. He came & we took off to have a quick bite to eat then to the Daycare center. Where we cut, glued & he painted. We're redoing a part of the name, because of the red wasn't really cutting it. We ended up choosing yellow which looks very nice. Andrew did a great job painting! i still very much enjoy working with him because he doesn't lack when doing a job & his work ethic is very high, which i admire a lot!
Well, i need to go to bed because i think im getting up early again to go with Ma to get her cast off, which she is looking really forward to. i hope y'all have a great rest of the week. God bless y'all! Y

Strength for Today...

Hi y'all! Was this an awesome weekend of God's weather here in Oregon or what?! Hope y'all were able to enjoy it or least get out in it at some point. On Friday, i woke up around 10ish with Ma & Grandma running around the kitchen preparing different foods for my cousin Annie's Big day on Saturday. i helped with what i could, did some laundry & helped out around the house. That afternoon Andrew came over after work & we headed out with Andy Bob first to Fred's to pick up a few things that i needed for Saturday then off to Loved ones night. It's always a lot of fun to help out & play with the loved ones there.

Saturday morning came, The Big Day for my cousin Annie. i took a quick bath & got ready. Everyone here looked all so nice dressed up. Andrew came right at 10:30, he looked very sharp! We all then took off to Aloha. The wedding was in Annie's dad's backyard. It was very simple but very nice too. They had written their own vows, which was very sweet! Our family really likes Mike & we love the fact he treats Annie very good too. These two pics above are my favorite of Annie & Mike's wedding.

After we had come back, We watched some collage football & Andrew helped calm Charlotte (my littlest cousin at the moment). Then once she was getting fed He & i took off to one of our favorite places to eat.. Wall street pizza Yum!

On Sunday morning Andrew came to get me & we took off to Church. He had kids first service so i hung around & did some reading in my Bible. Then we met up & listened to Alan express one of the sweetest sermons i have heard about Jesus. i really enjoyed it! After service Andrew brought me home because he needed to go do some things back at his parent's place. i visited with my Aunt Jill for a little bit & then crashed for two hours. i had a wonderful chat with Ma after i woke up. i've been just chilling out for the last few hours. i have a busy week ahead of me again, which i leave in God's hands to help me handle it.

A Day of Remembrance...

Hi y'all! Before i start telling you about my day etc. i'd like to take a few moments to say.."I will never forget 9-11-2001 nor the many victims, survivors & the families effected." That indeed was a very horrific day in America's history & a terrible loss of many Americans. My prayer is that "Let the people of America who don't know you Lord.. indeed know who You are now, for You are my God & theirs. Amen!"OK, well back to my day. Today i went back to work at Church. i work one Thursday a month for Mom to Mom & starting this coming Wednesday i will be working during Wednesday morning edition Women's Bible study. We had 23 kids today in my class, it was so fun! i love being around the kids. It wasn't that difficult to get back into the swing of things but i did get worn out but regained my energy after an hour nap when i got home & a hot bath.

Andrew came also over tonight. We had dinner with Andy Bob & Big Dad. Then he, Andy Bob & i went out to Dairy Queen which was a sweet treat indeed.

Amazing how many colors there are out there in God's big world. i was thinking about this on Monday afternoon while i was back in my Art class. i have been going through some of my art supply catalogs and just gooing over the paint colors they have come out with. (Yes, i said gooing..for those who have your Carrie-Margaret dictionary mark that word down. It means to Goo over with delight.) Just mind blowing! The colors that is. i tend to see more colors out there in the world while im riding around with Andrew or Ma or whomever. i don't see blue or green etc. i see like Ultramarine blue or Undersea green. i sometimes will drive my mind crazy because not only is my mind seeing multiple colors i will see painting ideas on painting ideas.. i don't know if that even makes sense but it makes sense to me. im bringing this up because as of right now im in the process of thinking of a new painting. im not a 100% sure what i want to paint next, if it's going to be a fall painting or a winter painting. i am working on one as it is of an old barn Big Dad had helped to take down but as i mentioned before my mind will think of painting ideas on painting ideas, so that's why im already thinking of my next piece.

On another painting note, Andrew & i will be going back on Thursday back to the Daycare to survey what we need to redo there. From what i can remember Andrew telling me we have to repaint the little part that says Christian Learning Center in another color, so that's not that bad.

Speaking of Thursday, i start back to work at Church with the little kids. Yahoo! im so excited about it! As much as i loved this summer & the memories made, i have also missed being around the little kids & all they have to say, do etc.

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty cool & fun! On Friday i got up to help Ma watch the little girl we as a family get monthly & my second cousin Charlotte who is 5 months.. until Andrew came & we took off to Celebrate Recovery. We listened to a dear friend's testimony. WOW! God is awesome!! i love how God draws us near to Him & guides us on His path.On Saturday i got up a bit earlier then my normal to watch again the little one & some collage football. The little girl is 2 now & so 2 because her patienice level is low. When she asks for something & doesn't get it right away major cow throwing! i also helped clean up the house some too. That evening Andrew & i went to Church where Stu took us through a "Welcome back sermon" i really really enjoyed this sermon he gave.

Andrew & i from there went to Fred's real quick then off to the Murphy's for pizza. It was a good time to visit & we had some great laughs.

On Sunday morning, Ma & i had Nursery duty.. but only had two babies so it wasn't really harry as it usually is. We came back & i ended up falling asleep on the couch then moved myself to my room where i slept for a couple hours. i got up & watched some more football, then showered, ate, watched some more football & now posting. Seems to be a lot of football watching this time of year..LOL!

Well, this week is going to be busy but no worries God has the path laid out all for me as He always does. So with that im going to let y'all go. i love y'all & God bless! Y

Labor Day Weekend indeed...

Hi y'all! Boy! Was that a few days to remember! On Friday, i overslept some due to not setting my alarm & plus staying up later then i should of on Thursday night. i got up.. played some on the PC, read & got myself ready by the time Andrew came. We went from there to eat a bite then off to the Daycare center. We planned out our form of attack & indeed attacked.. From 5:40ish to 12:45AMish. We did accomplish a good amount but we knew we had to come back the next day to finish up.. no questions asked since we had a due date of "Before Labor Day." i had overslept again on Saturday & didn't get up until Andrew called me for the second time (first time i was out of it, sorry huneee didn't hear it go off.) Well, he came over about 3ish & we took off to the Daycare center again & started to work about 4ish i believe but this time we didn't finish up completely until 2:30ish in the morning however the huge blessing was however we did get it all done. Thank You Lord for that!

i feel our team work was also blessed because Andrew & i did work together very well.. & i know fully it's because we trusted the Lord to guide us & give us patience with each other etc.

i am very thankful to Andrew for going far & beyond to help me with this project. i can never be thankful enough to him.. for that & many many things.

My family came home from Camping on Sunday afternoon & it was great to be able to enjoy their company again.

Today: It's been a laid back Labor day. Ma has been still resting her broken wrist, Grandma had been tending her garden, Big Dad cleaning up the Trailer & Andy Bob watching TV. Myself, i have been doing a lot of reflecting on my life as far. im still so very thankful to the Lord for how far He has brought me & is bringing me. i absolutely LOVE my life! Hi y'all! How has your week been? Mine pretty well. Yes, i know my back round has changed once again.. Well, where do i start? Hmm? Tuesday evening: Was pretty cool! Andy Bob & i stayed home to Par-tay! as he said while our folks & Grandma are up camping at Trillium Lake. We had fun! i made us pizza which i ended up burning the inside of my arm a little bit with the pizza tray but im fine though it stings like OUCH! Ma & Big Dad had come home also yesterday since Ma had her new harder cast put on today. The doctor said she pulverised it.. to put it lightly. She has twelve screws in it & a plate. i don't get how they put a plate in her arm but it's in there. HEHE! Also yesterday evening Andrew & i went to our small group which due to some hard news that we got about one of our members of our group, the get together was wonderful! i so much enjoy watching how God restores even the hardest of things in our lives. Today: i got up around 9:30 to help Ma wash her hair since she can't do a great job with only one hand. Then i took my shower & got ready for some long time friends coming over to visit us. After they had gone Ma, Big Dad, Pepper (our dog) & Andy Bob went back up to the mountain. Not to long after they left Andrew swung by & we took off to where He & i are working together on the new commission for our friend's daycare center. We will go back tomorrow evening to work our best to finish it. God willing we will GET R'DONE! i enjoy his & my team work because we're both very laid back (by meaning we get along really well with one another when it comes to doing something together) but yet have the common goal of making it look very nice. Andrew has a very strong work ethic which i very much admire, so it's just a blessing to have him for a zillion reasons.Well, with that.. im going to let'cha all go for now because im getting sleepy. i hope y'all have a wonderful weekend & blessed Labor Day. Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Mine was let me say.. God planned. i know in a way words that do pop up as a Christian but im always amazed & so thankful that the Lord has all things planned out.

On Friday, i spent most the day thinking how i was going to plan out my final outline to show my possible client. Well, it did work out but Andrew & i still have a few kinks to work on but no problem God will help us through them. He came after work & we took off to Home Depot to look at some supplies etc for the project. Then after we did we went to Loved ones night, which was fun! We celebrated one of the kid's birthdays with Root Beer/Orange Floats which you can see Andrew had made a new straw. This kind he can aim to any drink on the table & sip out of. LOL! i love how he isn't afraid to be silly.

We met up with the possible client showed him the plan & BOOM! He said yes he'll hire me. So Andrew & i now have to plan when this week we'll go do that for the guy.

On Saturday was kinda of pokey (slow) for a while. But Ma & i had a wonderful chat. Andrew came by & we went to Church where service was really awesome!

We went out to dinner with Mike & Mary at Wall street pizza which was yum! On the way home Andrew & i had one of the most serious talks in our relationship, which was another WOW GOD, thank you so much for your timing!

Sunday morning came & i went with Andrew to Church so i could sign up for Women's Bible study,which im excited about.

Then after he brought me home & not to long after Sean & Ames came to get me & we took off for lunch. It was a great time to spend with them. We also went to a new scrapbook store, which Thank you again Sean for taking us there. Not to long after we got back to their place Mare came to get me & she & i hung out. We went to Target, then to Powell's down in Portland (which was cool!) Then we ate at Shari's for a later dinner. i enjoyed my time with her too. Now here i am posting & im beat! Hi y'all! How's your week going so far? Is this weather we're having weird or what. It's been an interesting but cool week so far for me. Yesterday, Big Dad took Andy Bob, Uncle Richard & myself to Canby to pick up our paintings from the fairgrounds. im still so happy i got third on that commission piece i got to put in the fair. WAHOO! Mare & i got together towards 6:30ish got some dinner at Dairy Queen & came back to watch the movie Clue & also visited some after the movie. It was a lot of fun! Today, i got up around 9:30 to watch Andy Bob since Big Dad & Uncle Richard were going to have some man time. Ma, Grandma & Ma's sisters had gone to the coast for a day/night. Then 4:30ish came by & so did Andrew. We took off from there to go visit a friend that is thinking about hiring me for a commission for his work. We're to the phase three of that project, which means in my words.. Almost there for him to either say yes he's going to hire me or no he isn't. Andrew has been my partner & also my manager as of late in helping me with this, which i am so very grateful towards. It's awesome to be able to just let God work in us through this project & our relationship too. i can't believe also he & i have been dating for almost 9 months.. Sheesh!! Does time go fast & even slow at times.. HEHE! DUH! Course it does. Can ya tell im blond. LOL! Well, with that silliness of me. i hope y'all have a great rest of the week & May God bless y'all! Y

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? If like mine, hot & very busy! On Friday, i helped clean up the house & waited for Ma to come home from her surgery. She did great!! Which is an awesome thing! She gets her purple cast in a couple of weeks, which she is excited about.

That evening Andrew & i went to Celebrate Recovery. Which was cool! We learned the vital lesson about "Relapse" & what tools we can put in our bag of Recovery.

On Saturday, i helped clean up a little more around the house before Andrew came over at 11:30 & off we went to his work's picnic in Wilsonville. It was really hot there but very nice to go & be with Andrew.

That evening my Uncle Richard & Aunt Lori (Ma's middle sister) came up from Texas. They will be here for a week, which is cool. Uncle Richard is a fifth generation Texan & has a awesome accent that we all love to imitate.On Sunday morning, Andrew came & we took off to Church. i had Runnabout duty during first service so i went to second while he had his kid duty during it. We still met up & he brought me home afterwords, which was sweet! He came back when we had the Belated BIG Surprise 80th party for Grandma. Which was a BIG HIT! It was a lot of fun to be able to see many faces i have grown up with etc. i say that because im don't have many fond memories of my own childhood except for some grown-ups (like the ones that came to the party) that took the time out to be kind to me when i indeed was a little kid.Well, with a good note im going to end it because im tired & indeed need to go to bed. i hope y'all have a wonderful start of the week. Well, second of all i'd like to mention a BIG HELLO & Welcome to Caleb.. the new member of The Wallace clan. YAHOO!

Today Ma, Andy Bob & myself went back to the Clackamas county fair & Rodeo. OK, i went back i should say since i went on Tuesday with Andrew. It was a lot of fun there once again. i bought a small bouquet of LAVENDER. Oh! They smell so sweet! The Rodeo wasn't the edge of your seat kind of Rodeo i like but i still very much enjoyed it.

Yesterday, Andrew & i started back in our small group that had July off. Which was cool! We went over Psalm 139. It's amazing to me that you can always learn something new even though you have previously studied that passage.

i was just thinking i better wrap this up because i need to get going to bed. Tomorrow starts a busy weekend for me. God knows i'll get through it thou which is always a blessing to know. i love knowing God knows WHERE I GO FROM HERE.

There's a word for you.. Yahoodles, the act of yelling cause ya found out ya got a 3rd place ribbon for one of your paintings at the County Fair. Howdy y'all! How has your week been so far? Mine, well.. I WON THIRD PLACE for a landscape i did.. im so happy about this. This painting was the one i had got commissioned to do. YAHOODLES! Andrew & i went to the Clackamas county fair today.. & had a blast! We watched cow judging, along with goat judging, walked around to see different booths, ate some really awesome fair food & just overall had a really fun time! We both have been going there since we were little kids, so it's nice to relive those memories of the fair. im going back there Thursday with Ma, Andy Bob & Grandma since it's also a family tradition to go with the family but it was great to start a new tradition & have some wonderful new memories with Andrew.

Speaking of family, my family is still up camping at Trillium Lake but they come home tomorrow. It's pretty cool having the house to myself but yet lonely at the same time.

On Monday Andrew & i met up with our friend Larry to go over possibly plans of a new commission he might hire me to do for his day care. Please if you would keep this in prayer because it maybe a bigger task then i think but i know with Jesus i can do all things.

Well, i think that's about it. i can't believe it's almost Wednesday now. Dang!

Hi, How was your weekend y'all? Mine was cool though busy. On Friday, i helped a lot with Ma (look in previous post if you don't know what had happened) & also i watched the little girl we were taking care of while Grandma & Big Dad worked on the garage sale. That evening, Andrew & i went to Celebrate Recovery. We listened to another just amazing testimony. i love Celebrate Recovery & the branch of my family that goes there.

Saturday morning, same thing help watch Ma & the little girl..(never a problem to help out.) Then Andrew came over at One. We went from there to lunch, Michael's, the library & to a really cool car show they had near the library & East Hill Church. Afterwords, we took off to the Murphy's where we had dinner & played a really fun game called Charoodles. It was a lot of fun to play! Ames & i were on the same team & it's funny how we can read each other sometimes on what the other is thinking. We all agreed to go see Iron man at the Mt.Hood theater, which Andrew & i had seen but the Murphy's hadn't. It's a pretty sweet movie!

Sunday morning, Andrew came to get me & we went to Church. While he was working with the 1st. & 2nd. Graders i visited with our good friend Terri. We then went to second service where we learned about Psalm 139 from Stu. WOW! That was a really cool new view on looking at that Psalm too. We also took Communion, which i ended up crying during..(always do) Then Andrew brought me home because he was moving things to his new place & needed to get it done. Not to long after Mary came over & we hung out. We went from here to there & back again. It was a lot of fun hanging out with her & enjoying each other's company as we always do.

Now here i am back at home & posting while my family is up at Trillium Lake for a few days. Well, i do hope y'all have a great start of the week. May God bless each of you always. Y

Howdy! How was your week? Mine was fun & interesting. Yesterday (Wednesday) i read some things & had a great talk with Ma. That evening Andrew came over & we went out to Taco Del Mar for dinner then headed to Church where we listened to the Uganda team report, which was incredible! It's amazing all the work the Lord is doing over there.

Today, i got up about eight to watch over the little girl we've been watching since last Saturday. She is so much fun & just a lot of energy which i love! When she & i went outside to check in with Ma who was helping out with the garage sale i overheard from the TV Big Dad has in the garage that the 700 Club was on & they were interviewing Three star General William G. Boykin. He had come to our Church a while ago & had left a huge impression on me. He was an original member of Delta-Force, as well as the commander of the units in Mogadishu Somalia during the "Blackhawk down" incident in 1993. He was talking to the interviewer about persecution from the media as well as some parts of the US Government because he had worn his uniform during his speeches at various Churches (including my own as i said before) along with some other issues they slammed him with. Mr. Boykin had just released a new book that i want to get very badly called "Never Surrender: A Soldier's Journey to the crossroads of faith & freedom." i love that title!

On another note, Tonight.. Ma & Big Dad were trying to move one of our big stoves off the porch & Ma forgot that there was a step there & BOOM! She fell. Big Dad ended up taking her to the hospital, they just got back from it & she said she broke both bones in her left wrist along with a dislocated thumb. WAY TO GO MA! She is more embarrassed then anything. Please pray she heals. Thanks!

Hi Y'all! How was your weekend? Mine, well.. where do i start? On Friday we started having the garage sale, which we did pretty good. In the afternoon Ma, Andy Bob & myself went to Canby to turn in the paintings. It was a sweet drive there. Canby has sure changed since i lived there when i was four. On the way home we picked up our little one that we give respite care to once a month. We got home just not to long after Andrew got there & He & i went to Celebrate Recovery where we learned about "Taking inventory" Another vital step into Recovering from life's hurts, habits & hang-ups. i think the morning came to quick because i woke up & began my watch of the little one, since Ma was helping Big Dad with the sale. Andrew also was over at his sister's watching his nephews. Towards 5ish He came over & we went to Church where we learned about Psalm 71. Another very interesting Psalm. Then he & i met up with some of our friends from Mosaic & listened to the Czech team report. It was cool & informative. From there we all went out to dinner at Old Chicago, Yum!

Sunday morning came.. Ma, the little one & i took off to Church to watch the Babies. We had about five of them at one time. Not our record though. When we came back i was back in charge of the little one & when she went down for a nap i did too since i was sleepy. After we both woke up we played more & went outside which was a lot of fun! She's getting very smart with identifying a lot of things around her. Not bad for a young two.Well, im about to go hope into the shower but i wanted to least let y'all know what i did. i hope y'all have a great start of the week now. i love y'all & God bless! Y

Hi y'all! Can you believe now it's August 1st? Well, actually it's the 31st of July as im posting this.. but still almost a new month & the last month of summer. Got any thing planned for the last four weeks of Summer 08? i have some things planned but im sure some things will come up that i'll wanna do or attend etc.

Well, Since it's the 1st. (almost) Andrew & i have been together for eight months now. WOOHOO! i have been so happy with this guy & it just keep getting better which is a huge blessing! God continues to be the center of our relationship, which is the HUGEST BLESSING!

This weekend is another famous BIG DAD Garage sale. The good thing is, that Big Dad always does get rid of half what he puts out there in the sale, sometimes even more then half. God only knows what people will buy from him this time.

Hmm? Nothing else really BIG happening here. im going tomorrow to enter my paintings in to the county fair, PRAISE GOD i got them all done in time. Then in the evening Andrew & i will be going to Celebrate Recovery at Church.

Hi y'all! It's Tuesday about 8PMish.. Yes, i thought i'd change my background again. i like different styles, im just that kind of chick.

Well, good news for me.. i almost finished finally with all my paintings i need to get done for the county fair, YAHOO! im very pleased & happy with each one. i have one left to finish but i will do that in art class tomorrow.
i took a small break today with painting to give my painting hand a break because it had been working overtime to get a lot done on the other paintings. So i read my Bible & put in my Sunday sermon notes into my Bible. Moochie (my cat for those of you who don't know) always seems to like to be on my back when i read my Bible or just read in general in my bed. It's funny because when he first gets there he tends to go in a few circles to find his spot & then lays down. He lays on my back when we go to bed too, so im used to him being on my back as he is used to being on it.

Tonight after work Andrew came over & we went to Dairy Queen which is always YUM! & fun to go there with him. Course i always like going anywhere with him because it's just always FUN!

Well, i hope y'all are having a blessed summer. i can't believed it rained some today, our plants & garden needed it.. so thank You LORD! Well, im sure i'll be posting again before the weekend comes. i hope y'all have a great one now! love y'all always & God bless! Y

Hi Y'all! How was your weekend? Can you believe we're still doing pretty well with the weather. Wow! On Friday, i painted some & by mid-afternoon Andrew had come over & we took off to Church for Celebrate Recovery. Which WAY awesome! We had a wonderful guest speaker that was really good! Then after CR we went to Winco where we shopped for some food for Saturday. Which seemed to come before i knew it. i think it has been since i have been taking my new sleeping pills Saturday did come fast. im so thankful for these new sleeping pills because they do help me to fall asleep fast, i haven't slept well since i was abused as a little girl, but i am now.. THANK YOU LORD!

So indeed Saturday came.. Andrew & i headed up to Trillium Lake which indeed like my title There's nothing like it! i so feel at peace up there. We both swam, fished.. (course he did a lot more fishing then i, since i painted.) He made us dinner which was Pork chops & red potatos he had cut up & put mushrooms in along with a hint of rosemary.. very YUM! He's a great chef! We came back to my house about 10 & again Sunday came along fast, which was awesome. He came back to get me & we went to Church. He had his kid job upstairs during first service & i visted downstairs where i was asked by a dear friend of mine if i wanted to join the Art media team at Church.. YAHOO! So yes, i took it. Lord, knows where this will lead as with all things going on in my life.. & all our lives.

Church service was great too! Alan took us through Psalm 63, which was way cool! After service Andrew brought me back home since he had to go back to his place & move things around his place. My newest cousin Charolate that's almost 4 months old was over at our house, so i got to play with her some & also talk with my cousin Annie who will be getting married in September. Please for Annie & this side of my family if you would, their not believers but wonderful people.

Well, tomorrow (Monday) i will be working like crazy to try and get my couple of paintings done that im entering this Friday at the county fair. Then i know im going to be busy this week with helping the family getting ready for our neighborhood garage sale. OK i know a weird title but it's for Andrew.. HeHe! Trust me on that one. Hope y'all had a wonderful week. Mine has been going pretty smoothly. Yesturday at Art class for some reason it clicked in my head & my hand on how to paint really good looking hydrangias. i couldn't believe how well they turned out. i don't mean to boast but im very proud of myself for accomplishing this & very greatful to the Lord for the ability to have art inside me.

And Speaking of Andrew again.. He & Andy Bob indeed worked on the Birdhouse Andy Bob is entering in the fair. It looks good. Andrew also worked on one that is looking good so far. He is going to finish it at his home.

Today, i painted with Andy Bob some on his painting he is wanting to enter also & i also painted some on my tree painting im working on for the fair. Tonight, After work Andrew came over & after we watched a little bit of an adlibbed version of the movie Return to me, he & i went to Diary Queen to meet up with our friends Theresa & Carl to deliver the paintings they hired me to do for them. They were very pleased with both, which im like Praise God! It makes me so happy when i see the reaction of people's faces when they recieve their paintings.

Well, tomorrow after i get up i will mow the front & backyards.. (hopefully without scalping the front) also i will be working more on my painting & try to get it all done & out of the way. That evening i have Celebrate Recovery with Andrew at Church which i always look forward to. im also excitied about this Saturday cause we're headed back up to Trillium lake.

Howdy y'all! How's your week going so far? Mine has been going pretty well. i've been finishing up my latest painting that i will put on here soon once i get it done for y'all to see. i was happy the weather was cooler today then it had been. i still have to mow the yards either tomorrow or Thursday, but not to worry i don't mind. Tomorrow i'll be starting back to art class which im excited about. i have a painting im needing to finish before next Friday. im sure i'll be getting it done before then, i have no doubt!

Hmm? im trying to think what else is new.. My folks are going up to the Seattle Mariner's game tomorrow evening with Big Dad's Lions Club. That should be a lot of fun for them! They haven't been on a date in a while & i know my Ma will especially enjoy it since she likes baseball a lot.

Andrew came over tonight & we went out to Barton park where there really weren't a lot of people this time in the water or in the park, it's still a beautiful park to look at the cool trees & water. After that he took me to Diary Queen for a treat, which it's always a treat to be with him. Tomorrow also he will be coming over to help Andy Bob with a Birdhouse that Andy Bob will be entering in our fair. i love the fact that Andrew enjoys my brother & helps him out too. That's a wonderful blessing.

Day & Knight...

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Mine was fulfilling. On Friday Andrew had come over & we took off to Fred's first to develop some pics from the Camping trip & our trip to Trillium lake. Then from there we went to Church where we went to the Loved Ones ministry, which was fun but at a point toward the end a little to much for me but God brought me through it. Then we took off to see the new Batman movie (The Dark Knight) which was extremely AWESOME! The late Heath Ledger was amazingly haunting in it as the Joker.

On Saturday afternoon Andrew & i went up to Trillium Lake where my family had been camping since Tuesday to fish & spend time with them. We also had dinner up there & swam! Lots of fun as it always is up at Trillium.

On Sunday Ma & i had Runnabout duty which was fun too! Those kids just make me smile & they always have something interesting to tell you if you take the time to listen.

After that Mare & i went to listen to Brother Darin who had gone to Serbia on a mission trip. He indeed i feel wants to go back to the field & let God grow him more. Then Andrew met up with Mare & i and we all went to lunch which was cool! After lunch Mare & i had some Chicky time. We went to the craft stores & also did a run to Good Will where we bumped into Mrs. Janie Martin who always is a joy to talk too.

When i came home it was a little after 5, so i went to my room and read but fell asleep until about 8:40ish. Ma, Grandma & i visited about the wedding Ma & Big Dad had gone to tonight. It was one of our neighbor guys & one of our singers from Church who got married. Ma said it was very sweet & beautiful.

Well, with that note.. i should be going because tomorrow im going to be working on new painting i had an idea for a few days ago & indeed want to paint so i can frame it & enter it in the local fair in August.

OK, i know weird title but i'll explain in a moment. First off, this is my 250th post, Woohoo! A lot has happened since i first posted, but i want to tell you about the title first. This evening Mary came over & we went out to get dinner at our local Diary Queen & brought it back here to watch on VH1 the best 100 songs of the 1980s.

Oh my gosh! Have times changed since then or what?! The hair, the clothes, the music even but my goodness some of the hairstyles back then.. Sheesh! Talk about Bangs! We both didn't like their number one choice on the countdown, which is Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a prayer" It's not a bad song but it wouldn't of made my top 100 list of best 1980 songs.

Oh, so back to why i titled this blog entry the best ever.. Mare & i saw a ad on TV where this guy was introducing this band & called it the BEST BAND EVER. i just always think it's ironic that people do say that about athletes or songs or bands or sports teams etc. i think they should say like, "The best ever as of now." Because Only God knows what the BEST is & yes i will say this.. HE is THE BEST GOD ever because HE is the only REAL & Alive God there ever will be.. AMEN!

Well, this weekend looks very busy for me but i'm looking forward to it as i always do because it's always filled with something new to look indeed forward to & unexpected. The unexpected parts usually come from Andrew which i like because that's one of my favorite things i love about him.

Hello y'all! How's your week going so far? Mine has been pretty good but it's been really hot but today doesn't feel as bad. Isn't it funny, when it's winter we say it's to cold but when it's summer we tend to say it's to hot. Such as life in this world.

What have i been up to? Well, as most of you already know from my entry before Andrew & i went camping with our group Mosaic at Oxbow park. i was thinking about it today again on what i enjoyed the most etc. That trip gave me a lot of new memories with Andrew & others in the group to hold close forever.

i was also thinking today it's the middle of July & i need to finish up the paintings i have left for the county fair i enter in August. i have three of them so far & i can enter six.

You know i think i am going to let y'all go for now because now im in the painting mood. i do hope y'all continue to stay cool in this weather. i love y'all & May God bless y'all too! Y

Howdy y'all! i know it's been oh about a week or so since my last post. Our computer went blitzville a week ago last Sunday during the thunder & lighting storm.

Well, what have i been up to during the down time has been some pretty fun things! One of them was going to my first Rodeo of the summer which was sweet! Andrew & i also had our first fourth of July together at the house with my family which was a lot of fun! He & i also went to Trillium last Tuesday on the 8th, where we fished & had a blast up there. Also we & our group Mosaic went camping from the 11th. until today the 13th. It was a great time! We went to Oxbow park, where the weather was so great & where we all seemed to enjoy our mini vacation!

My family told me when i got home that my dear cat Moochie had been in a bad mood & also had been yowling for me since i had gone for the weekend. It seems he also didn't eat much of his food either out of protest, but i know he is happy now since he is sitting in my lap as i type this out to y'all.

Well, i know this isn't the world's longest post but i need to go wash my clothes from camp & have my late dinner with my family. i hope y'all have a great start of the week. It's great to be back blogging! i love y'all & may God bless y'all too! Y

Hi y'all.. How's it going? Good but not so good here. Our computer during one of the worst but yet coolest thunder and lighting storms that i have seen in our home town happened on Sunday evening and blew out our main computer.. so therefore i won't be able to post for a bit. (Sadness)

So hopefully we'll get it fixed and i can get back on track of posting.

Hi y'all! Did you have a good week? Mine was pretty cool! On Wednesday after doing some picking up around the house & doing laundry. Andrew had come over after work & we went to Carver park.. i think that's what it was called. Anywho, we had great fun in the creek & i know we both really wanted to swim but couldn't since we had growth group that night. However we both managed to get pretty wet splashing & throwing rocks at each other in the water. Great fun!

Growth group was cool! Murray had shared some what he did while he was done in Mexico. Also we got to hear a variety of stories from a lot of our members. Amazing how God knits everyone together!

Thursday, My family came home from being gone at camping since Sunday afternoon. They had a lot of fun & the weather was great to them. My Grandma even caught a fish! Woohoo!That evening Andrew came over to watch the NBA Draft & for dinner. Which is sounded like we got a pretty good player. i'll have to ask him more info on the guy or Mary since they know more about NBA basketball then i do.Hmm? Well, so far today i've been helping with more loads of laundry then i can count.. lol! im also working on a painting (taking a break to post) for an upcoming fair i always enter in. Tonight im going to Celebrate Recovery, which i always look forward to. i was thinking that this weekend is also our Church's annual Patriotic service. i so love our Church that indeed celebrates our country, our troops of then & now & over all the one who gives us our ultimate freedom, Jesus.

Hi y'all! How's your week going so far? Mine has been pretty dang good. My family is up camping & im here at homing holding the fort down. It's pretty cool being able to be in charge of the house etc. i've been doing a pretty good job at it if i do say so myself. i mowed the back & front yards earlier tonight so i got that all done before the weekend comes, which is always a good thing. Since i like to do things on the weekend with andrew & my friends etc. Well, i want to give a HUGE shout out Birthday wish to my dear friend MC.. who's birthday indeed is today June 25th. MC! Howdy y'all! How was your weekend? Mine was Awesome! i just will remember this weekend for quite a while. On Friday morning, i went with Ma to some home visits where i got to play with the little kids that she wasn't helping at the moment & also got to be with her which is always fun! It's amazing all the information she has inside & she's sharing it with me as if i were one of her best friends. Pretty dang sweet!

That evening, Andrew came over & we went out to Celebrate Recovery where we celebrated some of our attenders victories, which oh so proud of them for doing so. i got my One year coin too for being in the group im in & growing in.

On Saturday, Andrew & i had originally planned to go up to Trillium Lake but to our minor disappointment it wasn't quite ready to open, we didn't stay disappointed long because we thought let's go then to Timothy Lake which isn't that far from Trillium. Well, indeed we went to Timothy.. & had such a BLAST! The weather was perfect, not to hot & not to cold. The only big complaint was there were a few too many ants. He got to try out his new patoon fishing boat, which he came out with wet shorts in but still he had a lot of fun trying out. i tried to paint some, i didn't get a lot of painting done but i did get some painting ideas which will be helpful. He however, drew me a picture. One would think he would make me some that would make me say "Awe, huneee, that's beautiful thank you.. But oh no! It was a slug with four eyes & yes wings. Eww! But it is a very good drawing i will give him that. He just knows i don't like slugs & claims they only move an inch a day.. HA! No they don't i say, their still gonna get me. Icky!!

For dinner, we had steaks.. which were YUMMY!! He did a great job cooking them. We also roasted a few marshmallows, which was a lot of fun too!

We made it home a little after 10ish PM. It was a wonderful day trip with him!!

Sunday morning came, Ma & i went off to Church since we had Runnabout duty. Which was a lot of fun! We had 12 little monkeys there.. we played, ate snack, & watched Veggie Tales Ultimate silly songs, which who can not enjoy life when that's going on.

i went to second service & sat with my good friend Terri & her husband Tom since Andrew had his kid duty during second service. Terri, had just gotten back from Indiana & brought me back this cutest Giant John Deere pencil. i love it! Service was just amazing! Alan took us through "The heart of the Father" It was just so rich & beautiful.

Andrew & i met up with the Murphy's where we went to lunch at Chang's, which was Yum! It was a great time to fellowship with them & talk about just a variety of things.

Andrew brought me home after we were done having lunch, & i painted some then worked on my scrapbook.. then took a mini nap. i painted a little more.. Now im on here posting.

Well, Many of you know i always make my title a double sometimes a triple meaning to me about how im feeling or how my weekend was or day etc. This one is no exception, Not only am i falling more in love with Andrew each time we're together, im finding myself falling deeper in love with the lover of my soul Jesus Christ & God the Father. Andrew mentioned something tonight while we were at the park, "It's because you believed in God." He is indeed of course right, but it just amazes me that my belief & trusting in God has & is making my life better & better. i don't know if amazes is the right word, but it sure is mind blowing!

Tonight, Andrew & i went to dinner at Taco Del Mar (Yum) and then out to the park (as i said before). We walked around for a bit & out of his eye he spotted a Beaver in the little pond they have. We both were like Whoa! Very cool to see! We also had another deep talk which is always a blessing because indeed part of a relationship is communication to one another. i feel the more we talk about what ever comes to our minds & no matter how deep of the scale it is God blesses it in our relationship. It just grows us & we keep praying for it to grow us closer to God too. i know this happening because im finding myself more ready to grow deeper in God's word & ask why etc. Not that im questioning God's word, im curious on things in the Bible & it's amazing how the Holy Spirit leads you or someone to help you understand why. It's very cool!

Well, tomorrow (Wednesday) i have a semi-long day ahead of me. i have Art class then in the evening i have Community life with Andrew & some of our older friends.

Hello Loved ones, How was your weekend? Mine SWEET! On Friday, i mowed the backyard (which yahoo! didn't scalp the yard!) i did some Bible reading after a hot shower then by mid to late afternoon Andrew came after work and we went to Carver to the Clackamas river. It was so cool! We waded in the shallow parts since we didn't really have suits to swim in. We had a wonderful talk & just being together was way cool as it always is! We then went off to eat dinner then to Celebrate Recovery where our subject was "Forgiveness." God as of lately has been putting that on my heart.. since i didn't really see at the time (i do now) that i need to forgive someone from my past that i thought i had. Amazing how that works, where you think you have forgiven someone for hurting you in the past but yet God is like No, you haven't completely laid it down at the foot of the cross for Me to take from you. So, i know i mentioned this im sure in my blog entries in the past that one of my friends once said to me, "Sometimes you need to reforgive those who offend you." Indeed that's one of those things i have been personally working on in my Recovery which im happy i can see this clearly with the Lord's help & guidance for me.

On Saturday, i woke up around 1030ish.. took another shower just because nothing feels good on a sore body then a hot shower. i think i had slept funny because i was indeed sore. After doing that, i watched O' Brother where art thou, did some more reading out of the latest book im reading.. "The Confessions of Saint Augustine" which is a sweet book so far. Not to long after, Andrew came over & we took off for Church where it was very interesting.. Jonathan Martin interviewed some missionaries that have been in Burundi. We also go to watch some clips of that country & others that God is moving for us Christians to take part of. After that some of our Mosaic group met up & we went over some things we'd like to have & do for our upcoming camping trip in July.. Can't wait for that! For dinner we went to Wong's King, which was very GOOD! On Sunday morning, Andrew came back & we went to Church. While he went upstairs to work with his group of kids, i stayed downstairs & visited with some friends, tried to read my book. After he was done we went to lunch then to Joe's where he bought a new patoon fishing boat, which is just SWEEEEEEET! He looked so very happy to get this, i had to take a picture to remember how excitied he was. We looked at camping gear also & just played there for a little bit. He was going over to his sister's house to meet up with his family for Father's Day so he brought me home, which was fine because my family was going to have a mini BBQ here with mine. After that Sean & Ames came to get me. We headed out to the Clackamas town center where we went to Build a Bear.. & indeed i built one. i named him Semper Fidelis (Which means Always Faithful in Greek)

We went to dinner after that at Dairy Queen, which was a lot of fun to fellowship with them. Then we came home & after they took off Ma, Grandma & i watched the Celtics & Lakers game which sadly to us the Celtic's lost. Oh-well always next game to win the Ring. i often ask myself watching playoffs or the Superbowl.. is it really about the Ring? Or is it about being a name forever? Etc. Lot's of worldly questions pop into my head.

Hi y'all! How's your week going? Good i hope despite lack of sun.. but hopefully we will get some soon. i know i personally would like it to melt the snow up at the lake that is like heaven to me, my beautiful Trillium lake. Perhaps God is teaching me to "Wait" which if that is the case i will. God always has reasons for everything, so i will just keep thinking & holding close to my heart God has timing for everything in life.

This afternoon i got to start my summer series of Art classes, which is so fun! i worked on my mountain painting, which i told y'all about before & i am almost done completely with it. im so happy that it's almost done. i've put almost fifteen hours into it.

Tonight after we had dinner here, Andrew & i went to our growth group where we had a great lesson & discussion. i really found it amazing on all the information that was shared. i enjoy growing with Andrew in that group a lot because i think it stretches the both of us, i think this when we attend Mosaic too.

Tomorrow, im going to be working on my newest painting of an old barn that Big Dad got to help tare down. It's a really cool looking old barn it's a shame they had to take it down but Big Dad said it was on the verge of collapsing so they had to.

Well, hmm? i know this is a short entry but hey.. im sleepy now & should call it a night. Before i let'cha all go, im going to put a verse that Andrew & i were talking about tonight on the way home.. it's very sweet! Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Howdy! How was your weekend my friends? Mine was pretty cool! i enjoyed a lot of aspects of it! On Thursday, Andrew had come over to help me while my family was gone to watch a toddler, a puppy, the first game of the NBA playoffs, which was all sweet! He also made me one of the most yummiest dinners i have ever had.. and im not just saying that. It was Fetchini Alfredo with shrimp & mushrooms, TOTAL YUMMY! On Friday, i watched the little one again (which was fun!) & in the evening we celebrated Ma's & the little one's Birthdays with some family friends. That was a lot of fun too! Andrew & i when the party was slowing down decided to go see the new movie Kung Fu Panda, which was so cute!! Saturday same thing, helped watched the little girl & then in the evening Andrew & i went to our dear close friend's daughter's graduation party. Which was pretty sweet because i got to meet a couple of people that wanted to meet me. After that he & i went up to the Columbia Gorge to look at Multnomah Falls & also we also went to the Vista house. (Sorry if my pic is blurry of he & i, im hoping he will put a copy of this on his blog that's not so blurry) We went also to another movie, which wasn't one of the best movies but it had some good points that were funny. We still had each other's company, which is never a complaint. i so much love him & to be with him in our sweet adventure. Sunday morning came.. Ma, the little one & myself headed out to Church to watch some babies. After that i went to service, where Mare scared me to death. See, i was singing, i was getting really lost & meditating on the Lord & Mare came up & tapped me.. i jumped nearly five feet.. Sheesh! LOL! After that she & i met up with Andrew & visited for a little bit before he & i headed out to lunch. He took me to go spend some time with Ames. She & i had a lot of fun making cards & watching Ekco the wonder cat kill a pretend mouse she has. After coming home, i took a shower & went to my room to read some of my book & ended up falling asleep for three hours. Hi y'all! How's your week going? Mine pretty fun! There have been a few parts where i was like UH? What?! But God reminded me not to put it in His hands, so i did.

Today, i worked again on some paintings.. but didn't get any of them completely down, but i will soon. Andrew came over after work & we went out to dinner before heading out to Fred's to go shopping for some Birthday gifts for Ma for her birthday party on Friday. We got some pretty cool things, so i'll indeed be showing pics soon. i really can't wait to get these pics either!!

After we shopped we went to our group in Gresham, which was very cool! We went through Chapter 5 of Galatians. It's amazing on what everyone sees, i really enjoy that about our small group.

So as you read above it will be Ma's Birthday soon, so now im going to dedicate this last part to her after i tell y'all to have a wonderful weekend. May God bless y'all too!Ma-i have been so blessed with you as my Mother. i know we've had our many ups & downs.. but overall, we've never left one another hanging. LIVE, LAUGH & LOVE!

Those words seem to be my theme in life as of lately.. Which is sweet!

How was your weekend my loved ones? Mine was cool! On Friday, the day after i got back with Mare from our beach trip i woke up to an awesome phone call from Andrew asking me if i wanted to go to lunch since he got off work early.. of course i said Yes! So we headed out to one of our favorite lunch/dinner places.. Calamity Jane's. Very Yum! It was a great time of fellowship & catching up with him. After lunch he brought me back home which was fine, since he needed to mow the lawn at his families place & i needed to do a few things here around my families house. That evening we met up again and headed out to Church for Celebrate Recovery. Our lesson was AMENDS, & why it's a vital step in our recovery.. i mean all steps are, but this one seems to me to stick out as one of the vital ones.

On Saturday, i mowed our front & back lawns under an hour which i was very happy about & thankful to the Lord about. i didn't even scalp the yard this time either! WOOHOO im getting good at this mowing job. i came in & took my shower.. then helped clean up the house some since we were going to watch a foster baby for the weekend. He was a lot of fun! Andrew had gone fishing with some friends, which was cool! i was happy he got to have some man time. About 5 he came to get me & we headed out to Church where Mike DeRoser took us through Galatians 5:16-26 Awesome sermon about how to walk in the Spirit. After service we headed out to Mosaic, which seems to be picking up & we discussed the book of Titus. Very interesting book, & amazing how much stuff is packed into three chapters. For dinner we went to Red Robin, which was good.

On Sunday, Andrew came to get me again which was very kind of him to bring me to Church where i was meeting Ames & Sean for lunch & whatever, so indeed we went to lunch & shopped. We had some wonderful & silly talks which was cool! i always enjoy those. Then i came home, watched a movie with Grandma & Ma. Then went to my room to read & fell asleep for a little bit. Now here i am posting. Well, with that note.. im going to let y'all go for now. But i hope y'all have a wonderful start of the week. May God continue to bless y'all too! Y

One more last bit, Also Sunday June 1st Andrew & i have been dating for six months, i truly feel blessed & knowing that God is guiding us in our relationship just makes it even more wonderful! im thankful Andrew has been a real man in our dating by asking the Lord each time we pray together that God stays in the center of us. i know we both keep this in our personal prayers as well, which is Sweet! i thank y'all out there that have been doing the same for us, the prayers truly our helpful as well as meaningful. Thank You!

Hi y'all! How was your week? Mine, Well, overall was a lot of fun! It seemed to take forever as i waited for the clock to get to 5:00 PM the time where Grandma was to take me to meet up with Mary at the Clackamas Fred's. We indeed meet up & away we went. We stopped in Albany for dinner. Then our way again.. it was a beautiful drive to her families cabin. It amazes me how much land is out there on the route we took. im not a 100% sure when we got to the cabin, but we were both very thankful to the Lord for getting us there safe & sound. So our first night there we watched a silly movie called Clue, then called it a night about 130ish i think. But it didn't take me until almost 230ish to fall asleep. We didn't get up until almost 11. From there we went shopping in the local town called Waldport. i bought a new (well, new to me) Mickey Mouse glass. We shopped in a few other cute Antique places too, we even at one place broke out in song singing God bless America! For lunch we ate at the famous Mo's, YUM! We watched some local Sea Lions lounge after we ate, which are funny to watch when they are barking at each other.

On the way home, we got some ice cream (Yes before dinner) which was a treat. Then for dinner we just bought some pasta noodles to make back at the cabin, which were good. After dinner we played XBOX which was a lot of fun! It seemed like we played more of the classic games like PacMan & Ms.PacMan more then the others. In the morning we went over Acts 18,19 & 20. Which were very interesting. After that we played a couple more rounds of those classic games again & headed out to Newport etc. We went to the beach & combed it for some treasures etc. i found this little crab & had to put him on a rock so i could take his picture. i named him Herb. Isn't he cute?! We had a late lunch at a place called Flashbacks.. is that a name or what?! Then after that we got some gas.. well, i mean litterally we pulled into a gas station & Mare got some gas for her car. Did you think i meant the other kind? Sheesh! i do have some manners people, hehe! We went to get some Candy for us & our families then off we went back to home. We came home just as the sun was no longer in sight. Mare did a great job on driving us home safe. i had a great wonderful time with her on our mini-vacation/retreat. So now here i am posting after taking a long hot shower & getting ready to go to bed since im about to fall asleep. i hope y'all have a wonderful weekend though. OK, i know that is perhaps the weirdest title i have ever come up with.. but oh well! Did y'all have a great weekend? i did! On Friday, i painted some & read. In the evening Andrew & i met up and went to Loved ones night at Church, where we had loads of fun with the group there. Then on Saturday Mare & i hung out. We got to talk about our plans for our upcoming beach trip (which is tomorrow..WooHoo!) So that was a lot of fun! We went also to Church early because she had a meeting for her mission team. While she did that, i read Philemon (our homework) for group. Andrew came there after he got off of work at the pizza place. We went to Church service, which by the way was awesome!! Alan took us through Galatians 5:13-15. Really awesome message! Then we all met up for Mosaic where we indeed go over the book of Philemon.. i got a lot of info out of it but listening to what others got out of it. Very sweet! Then after group some of us went Cosmic bowling, which was a lot of fun considering there was a real loud show of thunder & lighting going on outside. Sunday Morning, Andrew came & we went to Church because he had kid duty & i visited with some close friends (The Wallace's) which was sweet since they will be expecting their first child in August.. Can't wait for their son! After Andrew was done with the kids & lunch we got spontaneous, & went bowling.. which by the way he beat me the two games we played.. but we had a lot of fun! After he dropped me off at home so he could go to work, i did a load of wash & helped Grandma pick up the house since it needed it. Her & i had let most of it go since Ma, Big Dad & Andy Bob have been away for a week. On Monday, speaking of Grandma.. She & i watched some really good old war movies. One just gripped me a lot. It's called The Best years of our lives. Wow! is that just an ever great movie! Then Andrew came over for dinner & after that we went fishing at our friend's farm.. which was really cool! We didn't catch anything but we enjoyed each other's company which is never a complaint. Well, as i wind this down.. im looking forward to my mini vacation with Mare tomorrow through Thursday. We're going to her family's beach house near Newport. The Lucky/Blessed one...

Hi y'all! How has your week been going? Mine.. Fantastic!! considering the weather is back to our famous Oregon Rain. The past few days i have been working on paintings & reading some books. Today, i worked again on my commission piece for a dear friend of mine along with the one my Grandma is going to buy. Also today i went to Church where they gave a brunch to the workers who served during Women's Bible study on Wednesdays & Mom to Mom on Thursdays 2007-08. It was a lot of fun!

Tonight: Andrew & i went to Taco Del Mar for dinner then off to our Community life group. Which was interesting but it was well taught by another dear friend.

Tomorrow: (Thursday) He & i are going to go see the new Indiana Jones movie.. im so excited about this!! Indiana Jones has always been a type of superhero that i just love. Can't wait!!

Then on Friday: we have Loved ones at Church.. etc. & then some other things planned for the weekend. So hopefully he won't grow to tired of being around me for that long.. HEHE!

Well, i hope y'all are staying dry & just enjoying those things the Lord blesses us with on a day to day basis.. which is EVERYTHING!

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Hot here this weekend in my neck of woods & various places i went to also this weekend. Sheesh! Was it hot!!

On Friday, i painted a lot on a new painting i got an idea for the previous night. Which to me is looking very "rich in color". In the late afternoon Andrew came over after he was done with work & we took off our usual Friday evening time at Church but before that we headed to Fred Myers to pick up a few things. Celebrate Recovery was awesome! We learned about the Victory step in Recovery.. which was sweet! What i got out of it has helped me tremendously this weekend about how i feel about my life & it's direction it's going now. Which is indeed "Taking one day at a time & Giving it more to God!" Some may not have got out of it what i did but that's alright because i feel that's what God wanted me to hear. The verse that came along with taking it one day at a time is this, Matthew 6:34 "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today. Isn't that cool!?! i love how indeed this speaks about worry & it reminds me this, Care-you know who holds your future.. GOD! So relax!

On Saturday morning: i woke-up about 730ish & got ready because it was the day that Andy Bob (My Super Brother) had been waiting for.. for a long time! It was the day for the Oregon Zoo. Andrew came & got us & we took off to meet our younger friends Amy & Sarah who he & i both love at the MAX station. From there we took off to the Oregon Zoo (which by the way according to a kid & my Brother) takes forever to get there from the Gresham station. Land sakes!! Was it ever sweet there! We had a great time! We saw a lot of cool animals & the Zoo's newest attraction Dinosaurs, which yes i admit was very cool to see. We by mid-day lost track of the time however & didn't get back until almost four in the afternoon but you know i don't think any of us regretted we stayed a bit longer because we had such a blast!

We went out to eat for a quick bite then headed home. After he had dropped us off i crashed in my room, cause i was beat & sunburned from where i didn't put lotion. We later met up for Mosaic where we talked more about the plans for the future of our group & where we'd like to see it go. On Sunday morning, Ma & i had Runabouts which was of course was a lot of fun! We had about 10 kids all together. Then i went to second service with Ames & Sean, which was very sweet because we got to pray over & commission our summer mission teams. i couldn't believe all the people i saw up there that i knew.. it was way cool!

After that, i spent some time with Ames & Sean we went to lunch & also shopped. They rented the movie Dan in real life, so we watched that. Mare came over to watch it with us & after that was over she & i spent some Chicky time together which was fun.

After being home for a little bit im thinking im a bit tired from all my busyness this weekend. So with that note.. i hope y'all have a wonderful week! May God bless y'all & i love y'all too! Y

Howdy y'all! How has your week been going? Mine pretty dang swell! Today, was my last day with the Children of Women's Bible study. i had a GREAT year with them! i so much loved watching them improve on many skills & life. What a true joy children bring in lives that appreciate them for who they are.

Also today was my Grandma Carol's 80th. Birthday.. yes 80! This woman does not look a hardly 80 but she is. i was thinking what was happening in the world in the year she was born & this is what i found.

Hello Dear ones! How was your weekend? Mine was, fun.. interesting & sweet! On Friday, Andrew & i went out to dinner at Calamity Jane's.. YUM! Then at Church we heard another sweet testimony from a dear friend at Celebrate Recovery. On Saturday after sleeping in until 10:30ish Andrew & i met up to go to Lake Oswego near where he used to live to an awesome park called George Rogers. It was very beautiful & some what peaceful in some places. Huge tress with vines & some beautiful streams, however at one point he had bent down to observe something & i was curious on what it was he was taking a picture of & it turned out to be a leopard spotted slug.. GROSS! it's one of the few things im sick to my stomach about & freaked out over. i took off after i saw what he was looking at & ran about fifty feet from the slug & him. YUCK! Slugs have no place where i am.. im sorry but they don't! OK i don't have no place where they are since they were there first. ICKY!

Overall though it was a fun time there with him. We went from there to Church where we had a special guest speaker Luis Palau. http://www.palau.org/ He was so real & tender. i really enjoyed him. In Mosaic Mare taught us about the Temple from the Old Testament & the New. It was very informative & she did a great job! For dinner she, Mike, Andrew & myself went out to Old Chicago. It was very good.. but i ate to fast. Then on Sunday, i slept in until 10:30ish again.. got up did some chores & waited for Ma & Grandma to come home. Shortly after they got home Andrew called & we got really spontaneous to go see IRON MAN again.. which was way COOL & a lot of fun! We came back home, where we had dinner & watched Extreme Make-over with the family.

Well, i gotta get going & go take a shower, i have Art class tomorrow where im going to hopefully finish up the one commission i have mentioned about before on here. i will remember to show a picture of it on here once it's all done. i hope y'all have a wonderful start of the week. Howdy once again my dear ones.. Hope you indeed have a great week!

i did! i had my last Mom to Mom work today until this September. We had 19 kids, same amount we had the other day. They did great! It was a lot of fun too!Hmm? im trying to think of what i wanted to say but i went blank.. hehe! i think im tired!

Here's something to ponder? Ever feel like your mind is thinking.. "Is this really happening to me?" i sometimes think that.. i don't really know why at times it does, but i am thankful where i am at in this world now & my life. i really think what ever comes my way these days i know i can handle because my faith in the Lord is getting stronger & stronger. i absolutely love it! i love growing in Him!

Tomorrow (Friday) i will be painting & working on finishing up a painting i had started not to long ago.. not my commission but another painting that i'd like to get done.

Hello loved ones! How's your week going so far? Mine, pretty fast! It seems like almost too fast at times.. hence the title. Wow! Has this week seemed to already flown by. It's almost Thursday, sheesh! On Monday, i had a wonderful time at Art class. i started working again on my commission, which Praise be to God im almost done with it. i also worked on a painting where im learning different tones/shades. Very fun! On Tuesday, i read a lot in my book i've been going through & got a lot of neat information out of it. That evening i went to my last lesson in Women's Bible study. It was pretty awesome! We learned what we need to be content with, is what i got out of it.. which is Christ always & foremost. That evening after i had a late dinner (900PMish) with Mare at Taco Bell which was awesome! However i came home with one of the hugest headaches i have ever had in my entire life. So after taking a shower, brushing my hair.. i went to bed. i tried to sleep but it was down right impossible.. it hurt to move & blink. It finally went away about 4 this morning. Golly Moses!! So i think i got about five hours of sleep.. oh well! i took a nap after coming home today from work & that was good. Speaking of work, it was good. The kids made some cute cards for their Ma's & Grandma's.. which was too cute! We also worked on our songs that we will sing next week on stage for their Ma's & Grandma's.. one of my personal favorite dude's there asked me not to leave him up there alone next week. Sweet guy, i won't. Tonight, Andrew came over for dinner before we headed out to our Growth group. The group was cool! i love being with him in our group because it has a lot of awesome benefits to it, which i love a lot & hold dear to my heart. Well, it's Thursday 12:02 AM so i better hit the hay because i have work tomorrow. However, i do love y'all! i hope y'all have a great rest of the week too! God bless as always! Y

The Wacky Wonderful Weekend...

Howdy my friends! This weekend, Wow! Was indeed busy. On Thursday, i helped Big Dad get a lot of stuff out of places on our property i didn't know we had for our annual Big Spring Garage sale. We did pretty well this weekend, selling misc. stuff that we didn't need & just had to get out of our home etc. On Friday, Celebrate Recovery was cool! We had the lesson of "Ready" Sweet lesson too! On Saturday, i got up around 8AM.. not my normal hour, to help out with the sale.. then Andrew came over & we took Andy Bob to see the new movie Iron man.. & WHOA!! was that ever a sweet movie! i think my favorite part of the movie was the whole thing, because i got to be with my two guys (Andy Bob & Andrew). Very very fun! i know for sure we will have to get this movie for both of the guys.. because they both LOVED it!That evening we went to Church where Stu took us through a new part of our new series in Galatians, 3:15-29. What i got out of it was this.. The Law was there to Lead us to the Lord Jesus. Way cool! Then we went to Mosaic where Sean took us through a new way to approach Bible study. i really liked this too. He gave us ideas & suggestions im praying we can apply in more Mosaic meetings etc. For dinner we went to Red Robin, where we had some more awesome fellowship! Which is always enjoyable! On Sunday morning, Ma & i went to Church for our Nursery job.. & that was silly but sweet as always. After, i went to Safe kids training. Then visited with some friends & met up with Andrew. i got to meet one of his collage group friends, & that was real cool. Then we went out to lunch & took it to a cool park in Sandy where they have the Sandy Mountain days. Just a beautiful day! Well, i best be going because i need to go take a shower & get my stuff ready for Art class tomorrow morning. i hope y'all have a wonderful week. i love y'all & May God bless y'all too! OH! Hi y'all! How's it going? Good, i hope. im doing well. i thought i would post again even though it's been only a day since my last post. i had art class this morning, which was a blast! a couple more steps on my commission & i'll be all done with it. Wahoo! The rest of my day i spent painting a little more at home & doing my homework for Women's Bible study.

Well, as you most likly noticed my post title is called Thank you my dear Andrew. He had called me as he was coming home from work & telling me he had read my Sunday night post today.. which was cool! but he mentioned to me, that i made an error. Here's what i said (in the last post) what i had learned in Mosaic this past Saturday "The Triadic Theme" & that when you read Jesus & the parables that He teaches that you can see the Trinity. WRONG! It actually means that there is a Father, a good response & a bad response to each parable. i believe that's how Andrew said it. i do see where i was wrong in thinking seeing the Trinity.. i know where i got confused too. i saw the word the Father & the little part of the word Tri & i got to thinking about the Trinity. So all is better & fixed. So indeed Thank you my dear Andrew!

Howdy! How was your weekend? Mine was sweet, a little emotional & overall a lot of fun!!

On Friday: i hung out here doing some reading & painting. Then in the evening i went to Celebrate Recovery where another wonderful testimony was spoken. On Saturday morning i got up about 9:15 AM.. & mowed the backyard, yes! without scalping it.. WooHoo! Came in, got my hair done by Ma, showered & off i went with Andy Bob to Gresham to meet some of our friends from our growth group at Mt.Hood bowling alleys to celebrate Mare's Birthday! It was a lot of fun to do that for Mare!

In the mid-afternoon Andrew came over & we went back to Gresham to another friend's birthday party.. which was a lot of fun too! That evening we went to Mosaic, where Sean led us in a review of how to study the word. It was very cool! My personal favorite thing i got out of it was.. the words "Triadic theme" This means according how i took it, when you read the Parables of Jesus you look for the Trinity.. Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

WAY AWESOME huh!

After group we let Mare choose where to have dinner since we were still celebrating her birthday. She chose Shari's.. which was good! i got a little sick with what i ate but it was yummy!!

On Sunday morning Andrew came to get me for Church, while he had kid duty upstairs during first service i read & visited with a good friend. Then He & i joined up to go to second service where Alan took us through 2nd Timothy 4:9-22. WOW! Was that ever powerful! Paul's final words were incredible to Timothy on still endure & stay true to Jesus no matter what happens in life. After service we went to get Andrew a new pair of glasses & out to eat at Old Chicago. i also snuck over for a little bit to look at Craft warehouse. We had a sweet time of visiting & i'll say it like this.. growing on another level. i so much enjoy what God puts on his heart to share with me. i treasure those moments a lot!

Howdy! How have y'all been? Me.. better & wonderful! Just right now taking a break from painting on my commission piece. Yesturday i went to work & it was so good to be with the kids. We taught them the story of Jonah & the whale (Big fish). i love watching their eyes when our lead teacher reads the story.. they're hooked on what happens next. It blesses me to be able to help them with questions they have about our story or life itself. That in itself shows me the responsibility i have when it comes to being a "teacher" because i have that influence on them i could tell them anything & their young minds would obsorb it & think whatever i say is right. Amazing!!

Wednesday evening, Andrew came over & he made us dinner, YUM! Then we headed out to our small group in Gresham. Very fun! & informitive!

Well, i know this is one of the shortest posts in a long time but i need to go back to painting. But before i go, i want to say Thank you to a few people who helped me on Tuesday.. Mare, thank you for treating me to your company & taking us to get ice cream, MC for being there for me & taken care of me, Ma for being there always, Andrew for checking in on me & the way you are taken care of me, And of course the Lord who is there always & forever for me. i hope y'all have a wonderful weekend! i love y'all & may the Lord bless y'all always! Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Mine, i felt it was very Blessed. On Friday, i helped around the house to prepare for our evening company & also painted some on my one commission piece. The evening was wonderful!! We had some of our close family friends come over, (who i hadn't seen in a while) Andrew also came over which was great! We were going to play cards but we'll visited instead & had some junk food. So it was really cool!

On Saturday morning, i got up around 10ish & took my shower. i watched some TV but around noonish i think it was Andrew called & we went to Oxbow park. He had been there earlier with Mur fishing. Wow! is that ever a beautiful park! Very full of trees & loads of green every where. The campgrounds were well kept & wonderful! Of course what happened to me became a real "Sappy" event. i found out that tree sap never really dries even though it may look dry. Yes, i sat in it. Golly! Leave it to me to do that. He ended up taking some beautiful pictures of the scenery & we talked about coming back here some time in the summer with our growth group to go camping for those who want to go. We came back to the house for a little bit so i could change into jeans without sap on them & off to Church where we heard Pastor Stu give an AWESOME sermon on 2 Timothy 4:6-8. My goodness! that was just great! Then we met up with a few friends before they headed out to The Wallace's. We also got to see two of our favorite little girls Amy & Sarah. They were a lot of fun as always! We went to dinner at Wall street pizza which was Yum! & off to Cosmic Bowling! Which was a blast! However, he won three out of the four games we played.. but we had a lot of fun! Now,to plot on April 26th where i can try to beat him in the games we play then. HEHE!

On Sunday, Ma & i had Runnabouts & we didn't have a whole lot of them but they we're a lot of fun! i visited with a few close friends before meeting up with Amy & Sean and then we waited a little for Andrew to get done with his 1st & 2nd graders who was upstairs during second service. We all went out then to Calamity Jane's for lunch which of course another yummy place to go & eat. After i came home & Andrew had gone back home to rest before he went to work.. i took two hour nap. i then got up to help Big Dad in the back yard moving trimmings from the butterfly bush into the trailer.

So, after a long hot bath & painting a little more im here posting.

Howdy y'all! How has your week been? Mine has been pretty sweet! However, it's amazing to me once again how God can just bring you to your knees like BAM! that. i'll get back to that in a moment cause i first want to tell you what i got to hear last night (Wednesday) at my small group. Dr.Bob had invited a very dear sister in Christ Jenni Smith to come & share what God was & is doing in her life. She is an sweet strong young lady who indeed knows when God is calling her to speak & use her actions. i really highly respect her & enjoyed what she had to share about her Russian experiences. i know this young lady will indeed always be in my prayers as God continues to use her where ever He may lead her to.

Well, as promised i wanted to tell you how God brought me to my knees. i had gotten out of the shower, got dressed so i was all clean & Grandma says, "Oh! i forgot you need to mow the back & front yards." In some sense im like UGH! i just got clean then God i felt whispered to me to remind me something He told me many times before.. "In order to do Big things you must start with small things." So out i went to mow the yards.. i often get into a mode of just ignoring all things except what im talking to the Lord about & listening to my ipod. As i was mowing the lawn i kept thinking of the things or trying to think of the things that the Lord has been blessing me with over the past few months. Of course one of the first things was my relationship with Andrew popped up, then being blessed with my family, my close friends, my work etc. And as many times i have heard every Jeremy Camp song he has ever put out one particular song came on my ipod that just seemed to hit me hard.. that is what brought me to my knees. At the end of my post i will share with you some of the lyrics.. but i first want to say i hope y'all have a wonderful weekend. May God just let you grow in the places you need to grow. i love y'all! Isn't it amazing how God works in your life when you don't really think He is.. but He is! Over, oh gosh! i don't know months but it seems i keep relearning this lesson of "Being still & letting God work" i really love it a ton! i can't tell you all the numerous sweet things that have been happening in my life but know this.. God indeed does always have your best interest in mind & knows what you can go take etc. AWESOME!

i went with Ma to her work earlier today & off to some doctor appointments after that. One of those appointments was my shrink who gave me some new insights about how to understand different views.. not opinions but views.

Tonight i met up with Mare at Women's Bible study where we reviewed 1 Timothy 4:6-16. This is another place where God works a lot of His wonders in me.. i think it indeed is because i am quiet while listening to the lady who is giving the review. i totally enjoy it!!

What i got out it the review tonight was actually from the head of the Women's Bible ministry before the review started.. Even if you can't see God working in your life, He is indeed working in it. SWEET! Makes me think of this verse, Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. i love how God just can reteach us things over & over again.. to me it just blesses me over & over again.

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty cool! i enjoyed it a lot! On Friday, i helped around the house some.. then in the early evening Andrew & i first went to Diary Queen to get some Blizzards YUM! then we went to the Loved ones ministry at Church. Which was a lot of fun! i ended up going however downstairs a little before 7PM to Celebrate Recovery to listen to Jonathan Martin speak about Pride.. It was very awesome!

On Saturday morning, i got up with Ma around 7AM to the Shooting range where she is the secretary. She enjoys it a lot but i'm sure she still thinks of my real Dad when we go since that was hers & his big thing when he was alive to go to & attend. After that we went to the Clackamas town center to have some more Ma & daughter chicky time.. another blast with her on that! We got some new body lotions & some other nick knacks. We came home & crashed for a while. Around 6PMish.. she drove me to Church & i met up with most of our Mosaic group. i got to indeed lead the group in to 2 Timothy 4:1-5. i had done some research on that passage so i had a pretty clear idea on what i was guiding our group to talk about etc. It was interesting to lead but fulfilling too! We went to Red Robin for dinner, where we had some great times with fellowship & where also Mare & i got really insane & ordered one of the biggest desserts known to anyone.. The Mountain Mud pie (See pic) the picture doesn't even do it justice. It was oh MY GOSH!! YUM!! On Sunday the folks took me to Church which was nice to visit with both of them. i met up with Andrew after first service & he brought me home. We got to spend some wonderful time together before he had to head back to his old house to get the last bit of things to move into his new place. Though we didn't see to much of each other this weekend due to his moving (which is perfectly understandable) i am however very happy that he will be closer to me in his new place. God always has reasons for every thing, person, event(s) in our lives.

In the mid-afternoon Mare & i met up to spend some Chicky time together. We did our famous Good-willing raid, went out to dinner & then shopped a little bit more before heading home. It was a lot of fun to spend time with her. We even planned some ideas for May we wanna do.

Now after talking to my friend who lives in Bend im posting, getting ready to go take a bath & head off to bed because i am about to drop off the keyboard. i do love y'all! i also will keep y'all in my prayers as i always do. Hi y'all! How's your week going so far? Mine.. Well, Wonderful is the word that comes to mind. Tuesday evening i went to Women's Bible study with Mare.. Where Sue O took us through 1 Timothy 3:14-16 & 4:1-5.. basically she called it "Advice" Which indeed i ended up getting some from my fellow women peers regarding trials with the devil. Then this morning (Wednesday) came fast. i went to work to be with my sweet three year olds.. where we had a blast! Only 13 came today which is one of our lows this year. We taught the kids the word "Obey" & what it means. I still so much enjoy working with my kids there & watching them grow into young ones of the Lord. Tonight (Wednesday) i went with Andrew to our Growth group in Gresham.. where we reviewed what we learned at Church this past weekend.. i got a lot of new insights to those passages 2 Timothy 3:13-17. i really enjoy still learning from all the ages that attend there & their insights. Tomorrow, i will be working Mom to Mom.. where some of my regular kids will be there along with the ones that come only during the Mom to Mom series. i think we will be learning "Fruit of the Spirit" which should be pretty dang fun! Well, i think that's about it from me here.. im going to continue to be one busy Chicky because on Friday night i have the Loved ones group along with Celebrate Recovery, then on Saturday morning i go with Ma to a police shoot.. (that didn't sound right but i know what i mean) then that evening i go to Mosaic where i actually get to teach our group a sweet lesson & finally on Sunday i go with Andrew to Church service.. Whew! See one busy Chicky! i hope y'all have a wonderful rest of the week! May the Lord guide y'all! & give you peace. i love y'all too! First but not the last...

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? Mine was eventful i'll say.. Thursday: i went with Sean & Ames out to dinner & with Ames to some craft stores. It was a lot of fun! On Friday: i had some Ma & Daughter chicky time which i enjoyed a lot too! We went out to lunch @ Changs then off to Troutdale outlet mall & then to an antique store. We once again talked from everything from A-Z.. Lots of fun & silliness with her! That evening i went to Celebrate Recovery where the lesson was CONFESS. Very deep lesson in what it takes to indeed Confess your faults to God, another & yourself. What i got out of it, is the more you do confess the more healing you'll gain from the Lord. Saturday morning: i got up around 10ish & hung around the house worked on my scrapbook i've been playing around with, watched TV with Ma until Mare got me around 3ish for Church. A little early because she had a Mazatlan mission meeting. While Church was going on i read mostly out of my Bible dictionary. Then off to Mosaic. Now for the shocker, during group Mur asked if anyone wants to take the lead while he will be out of town etc. i felt the tug in my heart so i was like "Alright Lord!, i'll do it!" So yours truly indeed will be teaching the lesson this coming Saturday in group. After that we went to Applebees where we celebrated Sean's & Ames' birthdays on Sean's actual birthday. It was a lot of fun except i had a killer headache for almost 1/3 of it, but it did eventually go away. Sunday morning: Ma & i had Nursery duty but they asked me if i wouldn't mind moving into Crawlers since they were getting swamped which No prob. We ended up having 10 little monkeys in there. Very fun!

After that, i went to service for a little while until i was feeling sick & had to bow out for the last 1/2 hour. i will catch up with what Mr. Keels did talk about on the Churches website.. so this is good.

Andrew brought me home, i crashed for a little bit because i wasn't feeling 100% still. i got up about 2:00 & got ready for when Andrew was coming back at 3:30 to go to our friend's Jodi & Daniel's Wedding.. which by the way was SO beautiful.. lots of pink but very beautiful! It was a lot of fun too! He & i even tried to swing dance some since they offered the guests lessons.. a very Fun time! Well, with all that i think im going to call it good. i hope y'all have a wonderful start of the week. i love y'all very much & may God continue to bless y'all too! Y
